Was £17.99 and that was a hot deal but now down to £14.99 so even better than the Amazon deal!

Ugh and I was trying to save money.

Great price, thanks Musaafir

Wow amazing price, ordered.

Thanks.

How does this compare with FIFA manager 11?

My sons spend an inordinate amount of time playing FIFA manager 09 (and also consume an inordinate amount of disk space as they never clean up saved games all of which, I assume, contain a simulated state of virtually every league in the world!)

Ordered 2 copies.

Thanks!

Great price---ordered. Now have to upgrade my laptop so I can play it...lol.

Football Manager is the best series in the genre by quite some distance, in my opinion.

Thanks a bunch! I was kicking myself the other day as I missed out on the £17.99 deal!

Thanks OP. Ordered 2 copies with Quidco for nephew Imy and niece Maddy.

ditto! amazing deal!

Footy Manager is by far the best in the genre. Lightyears ahead in fact.

Still, best versions go to Champ Man 96/97+97/98 (I could win the CL with any team including Scotlands finest The Shire as I knew every single super free transfer signing to make) and FM 2008 which I managed to get to season 2043 putting in a mamoth 32 and half days of play.

It's only in writing that that I realise how pathetic it sounds but who cares! Its Footy Manager after all. This is a game that has been used as evidence in divorce cases after all.

Is the PC one compatible with a MAC? Because I can't find a seperate MAC version?
Sorry if that's a stupid question, buying as a gift for soeone who has a MAC so not sure whats what! Thanks.

Yep, this will work with Mac and PC. One disc which installs onto either operating system.

We call it 'the time sponge'

Thanks gratts

Very good deal.

Amusingly in the FIFA manager settings there's a entry for you to fill in how much you paid for the game ... then it displays the cost in terms of how much its cost in per hour of play!

Mine arrived today with football. Annoying but can't be bothered to argue or mess about for £3

Ordered, brilliant deal, but I'm sure HMV only give 4% quidco with games not 7%

Have they fixed the problem with last years that had your team either not scoring or conceding or scoring 6 a game but letting 5 in?

FM2009 was the best one since 03/04 or 98/99, man, I messed up school/uni so bad because of this game!!

Just noticed that Amazon have price matched on this, though no Quidco there.

Any guides for top staff (coach, physio and scout-4/5 stars)? Can only find one such source online.

Oops yeah, 7% was for other stuff.

Nice way to make you buy the latest. I'm skipping this years and maybe a lot more people are hence why price dropped so soon.

Found differences between some years not worth it better wait for 2011 in my case unless it's a fiver
