Not defending the yearly practice of releasing Football Manager or EA sports title but if you are a fan of one these games and it is all you play, it must seem like an eternity between each release.

There are people out there that this will be their only video game purchase of the year and something they are happy to treat themselves to. People need to stop voting cold on deals just because it is not for them personally.

Whilst I don’t deny what you say, it’s something people buy. I don’t buy it myself but I know lots would do. However I don’t like to disrespect the “others” who buy these every year. They do have their likings just like me and you.
Let me also point out, this is not the full price. HUKD won’t allow rrp deals anymore. It’s the current cheapest on the market.

It'll be £15 maximum at your local National League team once released.

Sorry wasn’t clear what he meant. My bad. Yeah it’s the same practice. I don’t deny.

It's got to be said that £25.85 is not bad for a yearly update in comparison to the £45 that it is for FIFA.

£10 to £15 would be more realistic however.
Decent price, paid £27 from Voidu week or so ago. Can’t be bothered to cancel and reorder for a quid but worth it if you’re pumping 50 hours plus in to it

Same. The release date is also listed as the 30th of December ...
I think FM gets off a bit lighter than FIFA when it comes to yearly refreshes. Not least because it's usually cheaper to start with and not price gouged like EA do with new games and paid content.

It's also a better single player title and so you notice less when the online community dies off. However FIFA dies online after 2-3 months of a new version. I'm inclined to think more people buy FIFA to play it with friends online than FM. So it matters a lot less if you have an old version of FM and don't get the latest every year.
Whether you like it or not, if it’s the cheapest available deal right now, it’s hot. You can normally get it for around this price before release from places, Voidu was cheapest last year from what I remember.

I’ll be trying my best not to purchase this as I often hammer it for a fortnight (often play about 50 hours in that time) and very rarely touch it again.

Still, £2 for an hours entertainment? Cheaper than a going to the cinema to watch a film. Money well spent.

It's a good price, not something for me as I only bought FM19 a few months ago
I'm still playing FM18.

Don't seem the need to upgrade unless something is majorly overhauled.

This is a good price though.
im all over this Just love the game and will buy it every year as i did from CM02/03
Great price, prepurchased.

The site is on Sega authorized retailers list, so you receive the early beta too.

Other than the new transfers for FM19 Its not worth upgrading.
Apparently the average player puts in 285 hours per game per year. Kicking around on the forums, dedicated players are putting in 2000+ hours. Whatever price you pay, whether its greatly updated or not, it has to be great entertainment value, and great value for money.
Ordered, thanks OP. Saved me a nice bit of cash there!
