For Goodness Shake Banana, strawberry and chocolate, on ASDA online as well.

Excellent value, found elsewhere for £1.49. 20p is a bargain.

They only had about 10 left bottles when I got there, 2 strawberry, 2 chocolate and 6 banana, the banana ones were 50% extra, meaning the bottle was 495g instead of 330g.

They are in the same section has yahoo and other milkshakes, not by the fridges though. Buy them whilst you can.....

super hot, cracking price for a good recovery drink

Does Sean Connery endorse these?

Not online in my area for delivery

You have to take the word Goodness with a pinch of salt or as a joke, apart from that 20p is a steal for these sugar laden drinks.

crikeyness i'll stuff the whole fridge with these.

You do know this is a recovery drink and not an energy drink don't you?

They contain a carb/protein mix along with minerals for muscle recovery. No good if you sit on the couch, but great after a long run or bike ride.i.e. for endurance or high intensity stuff. I usually take a 500ml one if I have ran further than 10 miles or been on a 40+ mile bike ride.

BTW OP these are the 330ml bottles and have never been anywhere near £1.49. That is the 500ml bottles. Still a great price though as they were 50p in ADSA . Heat added.

Loaded with vitamins etc bit of a belter of a hangover cure for me!

Great price and cheaper than buying chocolate milkshake or even milk which I often use as recovery drinks. At over £1, FGS are way over priced compared with milk or any other milk shake which does pretty much the same thing.

So recovery drink = Milk with loads of added sugar

Think I'll stick to a pure whey shake and a banana.

Had 1 of these after Hellrunner, great product!

A banana won't replace sugars within the optimum recovery window time.

BTW as an aside. The 500ml bottles have a £5.00 voucher code for wiggle (£30.00 spend). Not sure if this promotion is still on though.

Whey is not a recovery drink. Good reecovery drinks are usually 4:1 carbs to protein and this stuff sounds alright, even if all the protein comes from milk... milk on it's own is a very good recovery drink.

Ill probably pick a few up for convenience, although its miles cheaper to by the powder and make your own (even at this price).

picked up 15 bottles of this today, my asda had the 330ml sprint bottles in, aswell as 6 '50% extra free', so i got them and 9 of the smaller bottles for £3

I saw some today at the birmingham Perry barr branch, there was 18 left on the shelf. I didn't buy any though. Looks like they are still getting in stock and it is not clearance.

Even though I posted this deal, I don't think these are even worth 20p. If you look at the ingredients, it's essentially skimmed milk + sugar + flavouring, You could make this yourself with skimmed milk and nesquik powder or better just drink skimmed milk and avoid all the extra sugars and ingredients. Plus the milk from a carton is much better than the UHT Milk use in these shakes.

Anyway, each to it's own.

these seem to have disappeared off of the asda website, suggesting they've been deleted from their stock lines
