People's minds gonna be blown when they realised they'd also get that amount of sugar in say, 475ml of milk.

If there's 17g in 500ml milk would you not just be better buying milk? Not …If there's 17g in 500ml milk would you not just be better buying milk? Not trying to knock your deal, not voting, but was just wondering

These drinks are aimed at the pre/ post work out market, to boost protein intake. High protein diets aid muscle recovery/ repair and protein keeps you feeling fuller for longer so your daily calorie intake should be less. These are fine for a quick slurp on the go after the Gym, but i wouldn't blast em down too regularly.

Eat an egg or some red meat rather than this artificial nonsense.

This is cheaper and obviously more convenient…

There are 24 grams of sugar in 500ml of whole milk, its naturally occurring not added.

Same amount of sugar then protein:)

To anybody who thinks the sugar content is too high:

    1. It's the naturally occuring sugars found in milk. The same milk you're using in cereal, brews, etc etc.

    2. Sugars after a workout will restore your glycogen (carbohydrates which are stored within your body) which aid recovery, so they're pretty useful.
