Good price for a starter turntable or the odd 45.
It does look nice but I wouldn't expect amazing sound from this. But there again it is only £40
always wanted a portable music player, though I'd still need some way to carry my records to play on it

BTW heat added and I love the sound of vinyl over CDs, more atmosphere
Saw these at my local B&M a couple of weeks ago with no price (guess they must have been pretending they were £80!)
Quality will probably leave much to be desired, but then again for the state my LPs are in, it wouldn't make any difference at all!
Help me out folks. I understand pairing MP3 to play through these speakers but would the Bluetooth functionality allow this device to pair with a soundbar for a better sound output?
or can it send audio by Bluetooth?

Hope this Helps

Good price for a kids toy.... Buy this and it will destroy your LPs
Sound quality will be poor but hipsters only care about the design and inconvenience so not a problem. :-)

Not on this you won't...
The intempo stuff really isnt bad at all for the price
It wont send audio by Bluetooth but all you have to do is buy a google audio cast and plug in to aux out slot and away you go to your fave bluetooth system :-)

I've got a separates system with turntable already

this is aimed for a different market, but is still a good deal for others
I like that "all items come with 3 month warranty" on the B&M sign behind. Nice touch...illegal but...nice touch.
Don't use this with records you want to keep any time! It'll wear em out.
I'm actually beginning to warm to this - I've recently been buying really cheesy "easy listening" LPs from all the local charity shops and have some absolute stormers -

Quality really isn't that important - in fact they sound all the better for a bit of snap crackle and pop - this would be the absolute business to embarrass my kids with at a family barbecue

At least buy a turntable from the charity shop as well rather than this toy.
Heat for the price, if you value your vinyl collection this style of player is to be avoided i've seen a review on some crosley type thing that a says a high end turntable has 2.5g weight/force on the stylus causing the least damage and wear, a mid range turntable 5g and these all in one and crosley styles 10g which will soon damage and ruin your records. if all your going to do is listen to records once in a blue moon or buy cheap second-hand stuff this will be ok

True, it's not the store that has to offer the year long warranty on electricals, it's the manufacturer. As such, you will get a year warranty with this product.

Pointless advice, anyone who values his vinyl will already know a cartridge costs way more than this paltry £40 charged for this whole shebang. Moreover, they wouldn't be going to B&M and expect HiFi, and then cut his throat when it does not deliver quality or ruin his vinyl for £40.

Why the sh*tty attitude? It's not really pointless advice from this guy is it? someone might buy this thinking it's a cheap, OK but not HIFI quality sound obviously, but an enjoyable way to listen to their old records...

However, all the while not knowing it was destroying their records. It doesn't say that on the packet! and it's absolutely relevant advice.

No actually it's completely the opposite - my understanding from conversations I've had with trading standards (which I'd rather not have had to be honest!) the store you bought it from is who you formed a contract with, and under UK law they are obliged to ensure it lasts for a reasonable time. Don't make me go all quotey lawey on you...oh...I will anyway, but it's a long read

http://www3.hants.gov.uk/tsi-guide?frmItemID=%27314036%27

and the rather longer....http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/contents

Basically its the manufacturer who have no obligation to support their product - indeed, many don't...but the trader you bought from must in law, especially within 6 months - after that the "burden of proof" is on you both to prove the product is faulty and (I believe) to prove the product should last as long as you are claiming - and arguably is up to six years in the new law as of last october (though I think you're unlikely to pull anything past a couple!). I thought it was two years but apparently it's six. Wow.

So - basically - unless that B&M sign says "your statutory rights are not affected", which makes it deceptive at best, otherwise, it's...yeah...not legal. At all.

The problem is the new law that came in oct 15 actually made it HARDER to understand and not simpler.

p.s. IANAL - lol
The Valise also comes with Bluetooth version 2:1 allowing you to listen to your MP3's via wireless connection with any Bluetooth compatible device.
-This is really misleading, you would think with bluetooth included, it could output to bluetooth speakers for better sound, but it only imports bluetooth from a device...to play over IT'S craptacular speakers.... Grrrr
If i was going to buy cheap tat, i would at least look at this instead ionaudio.com/pro…rlp

Was only pointing out what i'd seen in an amazon review from someone that had bought their kid a crosley and also had high and mid range gear and they'd taken the trouble measure the weight on the tone arm/stylus of each player as they were not impressed with the crosley i think because of how quickly records played on the crosley type thing had become unplayable. Might be pointless advice to you wasn't to me and my collection of rare records i don't know a lot about Hi-Fi equipment but i knew these sorts of players weren't great as i've seen many a comment "they will ruin your records" i didn't know how 'not great' they were compared to decent separates set up
It's garbage had one for xmas took it bk
Well, bought one, charged the battery the required 6 hours, wasn't expecting much, the result Is shown here (forget the squeaky noise, that's the family Canary - at least someone seems to be enjoying it!

Bluetooth works completely fine, but it's a bit expensive for a "record deck shaped USB speaker"

Better to do a little homework go on eBay buy second hand Hifi, amp, turntable and speakers even if it's 30 years old and buy a new stylus then enjoy
Bought this to place a stack of old 45s I came across. Sound, of course, is tinny and cheap, speed gets a bit wobbly, both lending a nostagic touch not entirely unwanted, but the dealbreaker is that the turntable automatically stops at some predetermined spot on the record, which I assume is ok for LPs, but with old 45s, it cuts off the last 45 sec of the song, tried several disks now, always the same. Bummer.
