For those who are happy to lease their motors.

Ford Fiesta 1.6 Ecoboost 182PS ST 3 Door:

£1319.94 inc VAT initial payment then £203.94 inc VAT pcm over 2, 3, or 4 Years
10k miles pa.

Ford Fiesta 1.6 Ecoboost 182PS ST-2 3 Door:

£1439.94 inc VAT initial payment then £215.94 inc VAT pcm over 2, 3, or 4 Years
10k miles pa.

Cannot imagine this includes any maintenance.

I might be wrong but I think the deal for this car on lease is quite reasonable. Not seen it similarly priced.

I may get shot down for this comment,

but why not just buy one on finance?

Its going to be cold as the real issue is probably that a Fiesta at £10K or whatever you want to lease it at is a good car. The market is much smaller for one that is "hot". The small hot hatch market has been tough in recent years and there is little cache attached to driving a sporty Fiesta.

Even if it is a great car, £200PCM on a Fiesta to the masses I just senseless.

This sort of money will get you in to a premium compact such as the A1, which for most, is more desirable.

It looks like a good deal if this is the car you want to drive for the next 2-4 years. Whether this is a car you want or if leasing is better than finance are completely separate questions which only each individual can answer on their own terms.

Can you find this car cheaper per month is what it boils down to.

brilliant deal for those who want one!

the lease likely costs less than depreciation.

How does the leasing company make their money if that's the case? Do they get the cars at a massive discount compared to what the Average Joe can get them for?

Pretty much, yeah

An example that for the 4-5 countries I am the fleet manager for there is no choice in cars for many employees. They simply get the 316d efficient dynamics or 318D business edition Auto. Over a 3 year period we are talking nearly 600 cars, the discount is huge.

The same thing works for car rental firms, etc. you buy big deal and directly makers.

A lot of cold but no one has posted a better lease deal for this car. I get that people don't like the concept of leasing but if you want a decent car for reasonable monthly payment it's a good option for some. A lot of the finance deals the poorer dealerships offer leave you with little to no equity anyway.

I agree but unfortunately some people don't realise quite how amazing this car is, they just see £200 a month for a 'fiesta'

It has good write ups - Autocar . Top Gear have also given it rave reviews even comparing it to the Golf GTI!

One of my cars is a current Fiesta Zetec 1.00 Ecoboost and it is excellent for a small hatch. So I can recommend the platform.

I still challenge someone to beat this.
