Damn, I didn't see it, and I've been searching for the past month or two
EDIT: It's now cheaper than the others posted.
renault clio 0.9 turbo's have been on the road for maybe 5 years now, maybe that should be a guide for these?
This is a lease of a brand new car.
It's apparently the most seen engine in the workshop for failures you tend to get at end of life on larger engined cars.
True, so if you give it back at end of lease its not an issue. If however you decide to buy it out end of lease I'm just giving people a heads up. I love fords and have had many in the last 20 years. It's just these heavily tuned small engine turbo cars you need to be careful about. Personally I would go for a 1.4 petrol over one of these.
Interested as I'm putting an order through for same company for the higher price at around £4230
You don't have the option to buy at the end of a lease. It's like hiring a car on holiday, you give it back (hopefully in good condition) and you forget all about it.
Most (All?) leases will give you the option of extending the lease or a price to buy the car
All lease companies offer to sell you the car at the end. It's the most profitable way they can get rid of it at end of lease. I've driven leased vehicles for the last 10 years and they have all offered to sell the car to me at the end for a ridiculous price. I thrash cars I lease and would never buy one because I know exactly how it's been treated.
Totally irrelevant comment!... This is for a brand new car with a warranty.
I edited my post. Should be 1+23
Had 4 lease cars in the family, and never been offered a purchase price. Have never asked mind you.
Cheers, same price I got then. Have just sent them my signed order
I will second that, they are heavily reliant on the turbos so when they go your looking at serious money!
Wondered how long it would be.....
If you have any faster 17 plate cars at this price you should post a deal
Struggling to see that as well
How is it irrelevant? Reliability of a loan lease hire or purchased car still impacts your use of the vehicle. Whether it's covered by warranty or not I'm sure you would rather be driving the car you are paying for...
I phoned up. The OP was edited from 9+23 after speaking with Elena at Fleet Prices.
For 24 months and it's a brand new car
Never happened to me and I have leased cars from Ford directly. My last one was already sold and on it's way to its new owner via BCA when they drove it off my drive. A lot of leases go in to the approved dealer network too and some are leased at a loss to facilitate the used stock.
Sure you aren't confusing this with PCP?
Appears to be a result of coolant loss that the engine fails >
honestjohn.co.uk/use…1-0
you mean 4 and half bones?
Not true. It was the VW Passat all track which I was one of the lucky few to get.
Wish that deal was still available - Or anything close to it, now my lease is due!
and you will only have it for 2 years .... let's talk about when it's 15 years old also when you won't own it ... lol
