Just looking around at what cars are around for when i renew and came across this deal that seems pretty cheap, i did want a 2 year but it seems a lot of places are doing the 3 year deals now? i have a Titanium at the moment but the ST-Line looks much nicer
There is a Processing fee of £300
This is saying delivery in a week! pretty good if you need a cheap car quick
there has been better deals but not for some time now, everything seems to be getting more expensive
I don't know what colours are included but it does say Metallic
Community Updates
OP deal is for 8k miles.

10k miles on 1 + 35 is £187.24/pm = £7040 (incl fee).
That's an extra £295 for additional 6000 miles over 3 years. c5p/mile

Have you not just contradicted yourself?
Depreciation argument only applies if you buy car outright yet most people dont so they lease it?! Dafunk?

Think you need to be clearer in your statement.

A 3 year old one of these will drop to around £9k which means if you buy new and are really good at haggling you will get the car for around £18k and lose 50% of its value with higher repayments and a balloon payment if you go PCP paying mad interest along the way.

If you want a brand new car and don't care for second hand then this is a good deal to run a new car for 3 years.

Don't understand how people are so against "renting" a depreciating asset.

NOT UNDERSTANDING LEASING IS A MUGS GAME - do you understand that?

I have always been tempted by lease but this has Annual mileage of 8000? …I have always been tempted by lease but this has Annual mileage of 8000? I do 15k a year

Lease two then.

Cheaper if you take the 9+35 option:[Image]

really - save 34 pence to put a £1318.32 deposit down instead of the £179.04 the OP has found - isn't one of the points of leasing about freeing up capital? Op's deal wins hands down imo including knocking off one permutation of GAP insurance being a consideration.

An RS that lost value. Did you bury it into a tree and use double sided tape to put it back together?

I don't lease cars, I bought it out right with cash. I don't even think places lease them just do mental finance.

I was reading a report where they were hearing concerns about all these small engines being super charged up, mostly concerned with the life span of these engines, as the last time it was tried Golf 1.4 170bhp with turbo and supercharger it had horrendous mechanical failings
And hopefully Ford have resolved their issues with the 1.0 EcoBoosts. Despite not owning the car, you don't want to spend any part of your lease stuck in a garage...

There's a huge issue with the engines and prices have dropped big style due to it. Loads have gone and its got other owners worried in case theres does the same so they've put them up for sale. I had the 5 year extended wareanty on mine so Ford will fix it, but doesn't mean it won't happen again.
You can pick a mk3 RS up for less than people are asking for mk2 RS's

34 pence? No Bertie - try again. £64.88 or a tank of fuel.

Given you have to pay for the total one way or another, I'd rather save a whole tank of fuel.

No - insurance not included
I've been looking to lease and these guys seem to have most of the better deals, especially on no deposit terms. If you want a new car and plan to change every 2, 3 or 4 years, leasing seems a no brainer.
