So the other day I posted a Focus offer, it's taken a few days for me to talk the other half round and today I have gone to order and it's even cheaper!

I've gone for £127.32 a month on 8,000 miles a year but there was lots of other options with different deposits and miles

The offer I was going to take was a 1+23 that was £179 and is now £169

The person I ordered from was really helpful and very efficient too

The offer is for 17 plate cars that will be registered at the end of the month they have quoted me 3-4 weeks delivery

I guess they are looking for lots of sales before the new road tax increase

One-off processing fee of £298.80.

Great deal (quite tempted with this myself) probably trying to sell as many as they can before the tax rise
Also it doesn't include metallic paint either (not a worry personally but some people might like it)

You missed the one off processing fee £298.80

Nice cars - had a few in this spec on hire and liked them

Great price but don't expect anywhere near the claimed mpg - you'd be likely to get 42ish.

Has anyone here used Fleet Prices before? Any good? Can't seem to find any reviews online.

Good deal until as plane_boy says the processing fee kicks in.

I drove an ST-Line version with the same engine and was pleasantly surprised. It's true that the MPG figures are optimistic, but it's not all that thirsty. In the end I went with a Leon with the 1.4 (150) engine as it was only slightly more expensive, but the Focus did leave me with a good impression...

I recommend the 125ps variant over the 100ps, if for nothing more than the 6th gear it brings. Very capable car either way for the average driver... And even has enough when the urge takes you to get the heart racing.

Hi is your Leon got the cylinder shut off what mpg do you get ? My 1.4 Tsi golf dog average is 46 mpg

Good if you live in a flat area, not really got the power to go up hills.

I didn't miss it off I said in the description, but most places take a processing/admin fee and even with that it's under £5k

These are nice inside but only downside is the EcoBANG engine. Its hardly eco, needs worked hard and a number of them have gone pop.

I'd wait for a lease deal with the new VAG 1.5 TSI.

Nice deal.

Just proven you know jack about this engine as it has similar output to the older 1:6 engine .Pretty sure it won engine of the year when launched

Drove the 125ps estate version as a hire car in Spain. Could certainly go up hills and got worse MPG than my 1.6 mk1 estate till I got used to it, but I couldn't manage much more than 40.

Wonderfully revvy however, and not much turbo lag due to its cleverness.

My Ecoboost went pop the other week. 6 months out of warranty needs a new engine and turbo. Google ecoboost degas hose. They may have sorted the issue with these later models but my confidence in Ford has been shot

And can you tell us ANY car which achieves 'claimed' mpg in real world use? Do people really still not understand that this is a comparison figure achieved under lab conditions and will not be achievable on the road? I guess you believe ARGOS RRPs too?

Seems a good argument for a 2 year lease v the second hand option, as you will be well within the warranty period.

I'm fully aware that all NEDC figures are not achievable, however, this engined Focus is nowhere near it. at least some manufacturers are within 15% of the figures.

Actually, we're both wrong. I thought it was 380BHP, its "just" 376BHP. The 376BHP came with the facelifted model, that came out in 2015.

Pic of one like ours with correct BHP figures...

The difference being our A45 can go round corners.

And handle.

And is quicker off the line.

And is quicker all over the place actually

And has AWD

Dont get me wrong - the VXR8 is a nice enough car, but lets be honest here - its not really going to worry an A45.

So what is this 'everything going on in the news with diesel'?
As far as I can see that would be absolutely nothing in terms of leasing and driving diesels.

Yeah not relevant at all to leasing.

Its all a bit of a non story. The press have twigged theres a wound to be picked at with diesels after VW dieselgate so they're trying to vilify them.
