2wd instead of all wheel drive and same power as a 15 year old diesel Focus. Still, I do like the Kuga so I'm off to look at some reviews of this particular spec.
Engine let's it down for me
hmm leasing a car you never own and be liable for every mark and scratch.
thinking about it its a pass from me, plus i would guess you would be liable for servicing at a specfic garage and whatever they want to charge, do you think they make money on that as well?

Exactly the same as if you owned it. If your car gets scratched, you sort it out, otherwise it's value will be lower when you come to sell it.

And they do not specify the garage you have to service it at.
Arguments for and against leasing, good for some, not so for others that will do way over the annual mileage allocation. If your going to stay within this mileage, it's more likely that the leasing option will be more viable than purchase for most from a financial perspective - 2 years leasing at around £5k against 2 years depreciation which at a guess would be around £7k -£8k.

Hear from me in any case as I like this car.
Shouldn't your total be £5,586 (250 + 23x232 + 0)?

Not strictly true about the servicing. Some specify it must be done at a main dealer, some at a VAT registered garage and some at any old garage. Either way you must use genuine parts to maintain the warranty.

If you care about your car, it's good working order and your safety, you'll be doing that anyway.

No doubt, but I'm just making people aware that different finance companies have different rules regarding servicing so they should bear this in mind when calculating ownership costs for a lease

Handed back my wife's Ford Focus after 2 years around 5 months ago.

Got a professional valet and then somebody to check for scratches and do repairs. In all spent £200.

They came. Collected the car and had no charges.

Key is, factor in £200-£300 with any lease for a good valet and some paint repair before you hand it back. Least then you can ring round for quotes / get best price. Simple.
