Forever Knight Part 2

Nick Knight is a man with a past, and it happens to span the centuries. Having become a vampire during the 13th Century, he was responsible for countless human deaths before deciding, in modern-day Toronto, to give up his undead inclinations and pursue redemption and, ultimately, mortality. His guilt leads him to become a homicide investigator, fighting the most brutal criminals of the urban underbelly. However, his own demons might prove an even more dire nemesis, as well as Lucien LaCroix, the vampire who initiated him centuries ago, who is determined that Nick remain a vampire. Nick is aided in his quest for justice by his partner, Donald Schanke, who knows nothing of his true identity, as well as crack forensics specialist Dr. Natalie Lambert, and the beautiful vampire Janette, whose loyalty to Knight remains intact despite her involvement in the vampire community. In this season, Nick falls for an author whose understanding of the vampire underworld astounds him in "Stranger Than Fiction;" Nick is brainwashed by the Luminology cult in "Faithful Followers;" Schanke becomes star-struck while working a case on the lot in "Amateur Night;" and Nick just might finally be forced to reveal the truth to his partner in "Close Call." Other episodes include "A Fate Worse Than Death," "Forward Into the Past," "Father's Day," "Bad Blood," "Baby, Baby," and many others.

Forever Knight Part 3

The second season of this cult TV series from the mid-90s sees its star, Geraint Wyn Davies, assuming the responsibilities of director as well. Davies plays Nick Knight, a former vampire who has renounced his former way of life in order to seek redemption. Now a homicide detective working the meanest streets of Toronto, Nick is aided by Natalie (Catherine Disher), a pathologist and the only human to know his secret, and the seductive vampire Janette (Deborah Duch?), who remains loyal to Nick despite his renunciation of vampirism. Nick also has a bumbling but lovable partner, Detective Schanke (John Kapelos). As he goes about the business of protecting humanity and fighting evil, Nick must also resist the efforts of Lucien LaCroix (Nigel Bennett), who initiated him centuries ago and is determined to bring Nick back into the fold.

Nick Knight
Though perhaps best known for his 1980s hit "Jessie's Girl", Rick Springfield also enjoyed another successful career as an actor, doing credible work in a number of smaller features. In this television movie, Springfield stars as detective Nick Knight, a brooding loner who works the night shift and lives with a horrible secret: he's really a vampire. When Nick is assigned to a particularly gruesome murder, he finds himself saddled with a new partner and digging deeper into a case that pits him against both his immortal nemesis and a psychotic killer. Also the basis for the mid-1990s series FOREVER KNIGHT, NICK KNIGHT is an atmospheric, creepy, and well made thriller.

This is a great series hope somebody else will enjoy it as well.
