This is actually a surprisingly reasonable quality kit and an absolute bargain at £15.
Been looking to build up a toolkit for DIY. I'd appreciate honest comments on the quality of this. Seems excellent value for money with all the basic bits at a good price.
I always thought Forge Steel was a Screwfix own brand...
Very good deal!!!
why does YMCA pop into my head when looking at the picture with the tools bulging from the bag?!! Seems good value and the tools would cater for most diy jobs from minor electrical, removing radiators and general screwing. Heat from me☺

Excellent starter set. Got one 2 years ago still going strong.
Good quality driver heads which won't wear down.
I do light diy to professional installs with this stuff
Heat - will probably buy.
(even though of got all of the above 3 times over in my garage somewhere, it'll save me hunting for it all again)

I think screwfix and B&q are owned by the same company, kingfisher. So often you see similar items, eg they sell the exact same brand of air con
very good piece of kit that has most tools you'll ever need to use in your home!
Can anyone recommend this stuff is good quality and not going to bend and break in 5 seconds

Screwfix are owned by Kingfisher as are Screwfix. So may be likley it would turn up in other outlets of theres.
I work for a major tool company, and looks like a good kit for the money.

It really astonishes me how little they must have purchased that kit in for.

b and q own screwfix

If it breaks go back to bnq with your receipt..
Do you expect a durability test to be done for these??

Well yeah I would hope they do a little bit before making thousands of them and then having everyone return the item
This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if it's this price in store?

Cheers,

Grim.

Well if they make poor quality ones they definitely know everything would come back in return. They don't gain any.. if quality was poor reviews would have stated it for sure. You can check the reviews of this item which should help you.

Great! Thanks Vassy1 - I'll pop in on the way home and pick up one of these and the £25 Dremmel - I'll probably feel the most manly I've ever felt in my life

Give a call and ask one to be reserved to avoid disappointment. Or you can pay online and pick it up while heading home
Seems a good deal & I've tried to reserve for click & collect for the last hour or so but at checkout keep getting "we're sorry that didn't work" message?
It's not the first time lately that I've experienced problems with B&Q anybody else having trouble?
Going to get this for my lad whose just started a joinery apprenticeship
I just got a cancellation email, saying out of stock
Just called up they are holding it at customer service for me Thanks OP!

Grabbed !
I bought one of these kits the last time it was selling for £15 (Screwfix I think). I keep the kit at our holiday home in Norfolk and use it every time I visit. The tools are quite good quality (for the price) and there are sufficient for lots of DiY jobs.
This is a good deal at £15 - I will add some heat.
Just got 1 b&q darnley still loads left price marked at £30 but £15 at till hot hot hot
