To all those whining, can you recommend a better tool kit for £15? No?

Most people who are buying this will be using it for little jobs around the house, they don’t need expensive brands. Those who need it for work will know that they need better quality products anyway!

NOT ALL reviewers ARE REAL, LOOK AT AMAZON,EBAY.. MOST ARE FAKE PAYED REVIEWS.

Forge Steal tools are excellent value for money. Heat added.

You do have to demonstrate that you work in the trade though.

That's a bargain price!

If those tools had any value or use they would not be marked up so cheap.Reviews are like The Holy grail =Unexplained.

do you need work in the trade to collect this?

Great lunch bag, tools are a bonus
Nice find Op

Beware! You may not use all the tools.

Crappy tools create bad accidents !!!

Got this last time, great for little jobs.

So will a nail look better after being fixed with a £50 estwing or the one in this kit?
More to the point, could you're average homeowner justify buying one for the odd nail.

The only crap is what you talk, they are fine for diy.............a sheared screwdriver must be very dangerous.....lol

For the average DIYer this is a no-brainer!! Why spend £££’s for tools when you’re only using it for the odd job here and there!! Of course if you’re in the trade go buy yourself some higher quality, more expensive tools. However, for the majority of people, this is definitely a good purchase!!

Set actually isn't that bad, picked it up for £15 at B&Q and it's been decent enough - worth a punt at that price

It is not expensive to gather a half decent set of tools together. For example, set of screwdrivers with a lifetime gaurantee for £8 halfords.com/wor…et

£8!!!

You collect bits and bobs over time as you need them. No one is suggesting you buy a £50 hammer to put a nail up. You get yourself a drill and do the job properly with a wallplug and screw :-)

Sigh. Screw are not eBay or Amazon. On those platforms 3rd party sellers manipulate the reviews system for +ve reviews. That doesn’t happen on retailers own sites (like Screwfix, etc). Don’t make that mistake.

Great price for what you get and not all is that bad. Might get for spears, can anybody open an account through Trade Point B&Q?

Everyone's saying great for diy but you have to prove you are a tradesman to register with trade point!

Little do you know. I'm a amazon review writer and on many occasion have I been asked from big companies to write a review in return for vouchers.. it's common practice to boost poor selling items or push it up to higher score...

This is an excellent tool kit for the price! great value for money, comes in handy around the home.

Did you have to have a ltd co set up to open trade point account?

No I didn’t have anything. My letting agent said I could have one, asked in store and was set up. Might have just been lucky I guess.

This. I doubt its that difficult to get a 'trade' account (a dodgy business card/letterhead knocked up in Word would do it) but looking at the prices I think i'll stick to Toolstation and not jump through minimal hoops.

As for the item, probably cheaper than getting the bits from the local poundshop. The sort of thing i'd get for the wife so she doesn't **** my tools up

We could debate this all day. I know enough about the subject not to generalise one retailer by the actions of another. Let’s leave it at that okay?

It's OK for the price. If you have no tools it's good first step. A good rule of thumb is buy a cheap set like this and then when stuff fails just replace it with the best stuff you can afford/want to spend. Over time you'll aquire a decent collection of tools and not waste money on expensive stuff you actually never really needed,

Haha what rubbish I brought this for my mum's house when I am around and she asks me to do thing and they are fine. No one is going to use these and build a house it's just the odd DIY job and it is fine.

I own this from the last time it was on offer. Great set of tools. A Stanley bag of the same quality would be 15 bucks alone xx

I bought this set recently from Screwfix. Its good value at £30, at £15 its a steel. There is about 20 actual tools (55 includes all the screwdriver bits) so its basically under £1 per item. For occasional use, will be more than adequate for most people.

Not only that the bag, spirit level, wrench, clips, tape measure, stanley knife, pliers, cutters and hammer are worth £15 alone... yes its not going to be the best quality but the price reflects that.
