This is not what you are looking for!
I have 8 of these - I keep buying a new one when I can't find the last one, guess I'll be adding a 9th to my collection! (what disturbs me is how easily these things can hide on me!)
Heat for the heads up!
Perfect for dividing limbs into a more transportable format....cheers op

Have you tried taking it home instead of leaving it with the body?

Never leave leave your decapitation tools with the body. Rookie mistake.
Could do with one of these after shes cooked a Sunday joint.........................bless her
Thanks OP, ordered.
I've given up on bow-saws. Prices aren't great at the moment but if you can pick up a "Draper Expert 44997 500 mm Soft-Grip Curved Blade Garden Saw" at around £13, it's a bargain that will outperform any bow-saw on the planet.

You need to be using a hack-saw, not a bow saw for that I reckon.
Bow saw for wood and femurs, just be careful and tuck your thumb in...

Jr hacksaw is what I had. The pin on end of blade wouldn't stay in place. Then suddenly it broke off. Had to finish cutting off bolt just with the blade. Was very tough. I figured I need decent one if on sale.
This seems very cheap? And cheap tools are often cheap for a reason.
Larger version available for £2.99 - if you can find stock!

screwfix.com/p/f…58c
Cold. Doesn't come with arrows.
Ii have one. It is cheap because Screwfix are getting rid of all Forge steel stock and going with a different brand which is often 3 times as expensive.
Any good for tree cutting, branches and logs etc?
Ordered both 24 and 30 inch. Last 1 for both 10 mile radius
Not available anywhere near me.
Thanks OP ,,,

but looking like finding any is like finding rocking horse S$%T..... as is the case with Screwfix and stock,,,,,,

That's a pruning saw - it doesn't cope well with bones, erm I mean the bigger limbs, erm branches...
The last one snapped off on me, perhaps I was being too vigorous, however I have yet to have a bow saw snap on me, besides you can get a two hand grip with a bow saw for those tougher jobs...

Are you trolling? The clue is in the description - Comes complete with blade suitable for cutting dry or green wood.

The size of the branches you can easily cut is dictated by the distance between the blade and its holder, you can of course cut bigger branches by rotating the saw, but I'd say you probably want a chainsaw if you are trying to cut something bigger than a foot in diameter...

No I'm not, in asking if it can be used to fell a tree or cut branches from one.
Cheaper than a spare blade.

I have one of these, the blade doesn't last very long though.

There is an obvious problem if you want to cut a trunk or branch that is thicker than the distance between the blade and the bow.

And an obvious solution if the trunk or branch is less than twice as thick.
I thought I answered all that in my previous post?
