49p screwdriver in my eyes.... i am a sparky and use this all the time to take screws out. Mind you the one I have is a different brand. (wera) never used it for it's true purpose though lol

Wouldn't even use as a terminal driver

And yet only two poor reviews, for the average person just say making sure there is power there on a house circuit or not its a perfectly good and if it was dangerous they would be illegal?
Pity non in Liverpool.

How can it be dangerous? You hold the plastic end and put the metal tip to the live. Nothing to go wrong!

The only dangerous thing about these (and I’ve got about five lying around) is they stop working and you think the electricity is off when it isn’t.

I agree with the above posters. Use as a spare screwdriver, but if testing circuits, get a proper tool.
you are the EARTH.

What is this comment supposed to mean? Last time I looked I wasn't. I wouldn't be unless I actually touched an earthed surface, whilst poking the thing onto the live. Generally I adopt the one hand in pocket rule whilst poking into the unknown.

I hope there are some of these in stock locally.

You do generally have to touch the metal bit to get it to light.

Touching the end is the idea, you become the circuit. Let big clive tell you why they are crap (6:52 if it doesn't link to the correct time )

None available for click and collect, click and reserve for next day, or delivery in West London. Been like that for a couple of weeks. Have a nice cup of tea and put some warm slippers on before pressing on "Get Deal" it'll help cope with the frustration. I think that this deal should be marked expired It was a good deal when it was posted, stick has dwindled do perhaps a genteel retirement?
