I wish people / companies would stop branding poor quality tools as 'professional'

Ignore Mr Grumpy!!

Despite being unbranded ( Forge Steel is Screwfix's own label ) these are actually good quality tools and should not be confused with other cheap sets frequently posted here. As to whether they are good enough for professional use, yes, absolutely, they are. How long they last does, of course, depend on how the 'professional' treats them.

In short, this is a good value set of screwdrivers.

Thanks to parpster. There do seem to be a lot of cynics on this site, as well as the good guys!
It would be helpful if critical comments were received from people who either know of or already have used products, rather than just criticising whithout a knowledge base.
These are good value for the money.

I'm an electrician by trade, THESE ARE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY.
I reiterate my previous comments. I don't think I'll bother posting again. Too many people commenting negatively without knowledge.

All because you call them professional quality doesn't mean they are ,
even screwfix don't claim that.

I was a mechanic and now a builder so i think that's knowledge enough to have an opinion

....and the electricians i know use vde drivers

using vde - thats nice for them! Colleagues of mine use a variety of brands, depends on which you personally favour.

Not quiet, just have things to do. Thanks for asking - no I haven't electrocuted myself. Very kind to take an interest in my wellbeing. Though knowing my tools and using quality equipment, being NICEIC certified andwith the addition of part p that I minimise the risk of such things occuring.
Just to clarify things for you. There was no mention of VDE as a brand. I personally use Bahco VDE drivers, but amazingly find a use for standard, quality drivers also, such as Forge Steel. You do not really need to spend a fortune on a set of snap ons, when you can find perfectly good quality cheaper. Hence recommending on stuff I know.

Hope you keep well
