Got this set the last time they were on offer. There quite good quality. Lidl are doing a very similar set for about £4 but iam not sure how they compare quality wise.

Voltage tester, Pfft! That's what the back of your hand is for.
CK should have registered the design of their drivers because there seems to be a lot of junk that looks the same including these.

I'm not calling the drivers junk. I certainly would not buy them though.
All tools that meet the VDE standard are subjected to heat conductivity testing as well as being subjected to 10,000 volts testing to ensure that when given a 1000v VDE mark, they are more than capable of providing the necessary protection required.
I'm saying the electrical tester wants throwing in the bin as its only a small resistor protecting you from a new hair do or a wooden overcoat.

All depends what you are sticking it into, anything household you would be hard pressed to feel anything more than a pin prick anyway the breakers will see to that. If you are planning on sticking anywhere near a bit of 3 phase switchgear, different story but then if that was the case you probably wouldn't have bought mickey mouse tools to start with.

Nah, its perfectly fine as a terminal driver.
But yeh, i'd trust one about as much as i trust those £3 Multimeters that come up on here from time to time.
