Did you know suicide is the biggest cause of death for 20-34 year olds? Too often, suicide is the outcome of a long illness lived in silence and isolation, and one that is never talked about. Nobody should suffer in silence. At Mind, we are determined to help anyone experiencing mental health problems.
The recent cuts to mental health services have left too many people struggling to cope alone and many are turning to us for support and the information they need. Calls to our helpline have risen 69 per cent in the last two years alone.
It doesn't have to end in tragedy. You can help. Sign up to support us today.
We'll send you a free packet of forget-me-not seeds to say thank you and ask you to join thousands of others like you in planting these seeds to show your support, so that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

Hey guys, heat for me. I am 32, served in the Royal Navy. Suffered clinical depression and anxiety since I left with suicidal thoughts a lot. Mental Health is very taboo even in 2017 so even though I suffer from I still help organizations like this but didn't know this one, so will definitely look into this.

Great organisation.. my daughter has the help of these and I don't know where we would be right now without the councilling.. if you can support then them please do, they don't get much funding so every little helps. Even if you don't want to donate them anything it's a great thing just to spread the word and show support that way

I donated some of my remaining giffgaff credit to Mind by text message (I split it up between a few charities). The topic of mental health is very close to my heart.

I lost my 26 year old son last june to suicide, i just wish all this awareness had been done before, but i am pleased, might save a lot of lives, i will plant these in memory of him, thank you x

Yeah, I'm fairly better now but back in uni, with all the deadlines and financial hardship I really hit the bottom. Was on SSRIs for a while, then had a really bad withdrawal. Had to go to counselling too.

Not wanting to put a damper on this but why does it link to a petitions site?
Also, "Care2 Stands Against: science deniers" - sounds a little bit 'bullying' against people of faith, or is my idea of a 'science denier' maybe off?

Anyway, just in case: mind.org.uk/

Good page that although there are only 12 charities listed and I'm sure there are more. Great Ormond Street Hospital being one I also donated to

How does planting seeds actually help forgotten people with mental health issues? I don't get it...
