I would expect the bike to have a freehub at this price rather than an old freewheel.

This is much better value for money and comes with a Shimano dynamo hub, aluminium frame etc etc

Yeah but there are no delivery slots and you can't do click & collect at Decathlon at the moment.

Click and collect is available at Decathlon as indicated below as well as at selected Asda stores.
However, in order to deliver more items to you, we have decided to open eight stores for Click & Collect only, strictly following the current health guidelines, in London (Surrey Quays), Greater Manchester (Stockport), Birmingham (Wednesbury), Belfast (Nothern Ireland), Braehead (Scotland), Nottingham, Sheffield and Edinburgh.

Collect at Asda

We've partnered with ASDA to provide additional, next day pick-up points for your orders too.
There are just two requirements if you choose this delivery option:

  • You'll need to order online before 1pm the day before to collect the next day
  • Your order must be 25kg or less
  • Delivery cost will be £3.99

Just select the nearest ASDA location available to you.
Overpriced for this bottom of the barrel Tourney spec bike.

They both have 6061 aluminium alloy frames. The B’TWIN has awful grip shift gear change.

Apart from this doesn't work at the moment, it won't allow click and collect on larger items. I bought a bike from them at the weekend and had to wait up to get a delivery slot (between 11pm - 1am in case you are wondering).

Yeah, cold for me too - I know it's not easy to find decent cheap bikes at the minute, but it doesn't mean people should buy overpriced stuff just for the sake of it. I'd rather look at second hand stuff.
I’m after a hybrid bike, what one would be better the one in this thread or the following one? decathlon.co.uk/500…tml

£500 maybe if a little more for the right bike. Looking at a hybrid bike rather than a mountain bike or road bike

These last 3 commuter bikes I've owned have all been Giant. You really can't go wrong with a Giant Escape or Liv Alight depending on your gender

I'm not a fan of front suspension because it makes fitting mudguards harder. Halfords have the hybrid equivalent of that one halfords.com/boa…tml
