I wonder if the drivers are getting 80% of their pay for doing sweet fanny Adams..

The ones registered for tax in UK at least.
Going to need a bigger discount to get people to buy merch for a season that never ran. Maybe a good investment though??
Can't see this season commencing at all
Gonna be big discounts on this as season is already seriously compromised, I would wait !
It'd be nice to see one or two of the British drivers pay some tax to the UK to support the NHS that will be supporting their families. This also applies equally to any tax dodgers who have more money than they could realistically spend.

Lando Norris is working from home, they're not all lay-abouts.

80%?
I very much suspect Lewis Hamilton is still earning £30 million.
Same for all the (Premier League) Footballers. They don't suddenly stop getting paid..... That only affects the common folks

I can’t imagine when it will start either. The first seasons were only 6/7 races long so if it is compacted it isn’t historically unheard of but until a vaccine is found how can it ( or life in general) get back to normal.

80% of £45 million Lewis Hamilton
Collectors items may be worth a few bob in years to come due to 2020 F1 being written off.

Unlikely as all the merchandise is already made , will just be sold cheap at some point

Why? If you lived in France or Spain would you want to pay full tax there and then pay tax in the UK too? If I had a choice between living in Bradford or Monaco, regardless of the tax situation, it would be a no brainer for me.
How many Brits involved in F1 live in Spain or France? The ones I can think of are actively tax dodging in Monaco.

Has to be 8 races minimum in order to be classed as an FIA World Championship now. Any less and they are just racing for the fun of it with no points of trophies awarded.
I’ve got tickets for the 2020 Spanish GP

To be fair they have probably paid more tax than you have in your lifetime... lol.

I really don't get this mentality... If I could afford to move away from the UK I would. Would I expect to be paying tax to the UK if I no longer live here? I dunno if it's just jealousy or stupidity.

No way. Limit is 80% of £2400 Drastic reduction. But they could live off their interest for time being.

Maybe you're right. Maybe we should all avoid paying any tax, let the system crumble and the fittest survive. Who needs compassion, decency, honesty or any of that stuff? Who needs the NHS or any of that welfare safety net funded by the tax payer? Maybe I'm just too jealous and stupid to understand.

Typical... spin what I said into some made up story about not wanting to pay tax lol.

I simply stated he has probably paid more tax in his career than you have in your lifetime and that I would live outside of the UK if I could. How many drinks have you had tonight?

Apologies, I'm too stupid, jealous and drunk to understand.
Free f1 merch for front line workers
With most of the teams based in England, I presume the staff would be Tax payers though.

Just the ones at the top-end who are based in Switzerland, and Monaco etc.
