Wow, a pic would be nice. Red hot

wow that's impressive!

I remember the Morrisons games deals last year. By the time they were posted on here they had been trawllered by gits to sell on Ebay.

Great price if you can find one. I really enjoyed playing this one.

... Buy again at £3, return £15 copy... Simples!

good find ladyboy

is this going to be a once off store thing cause i swear everytime morrisons have game deals on and those 98 pence games, Morrisons in gosport has them at full price there's never anything on special offer for a couple of quid here lol

Here we go again

Fantastic game. No heat given though due to no proof.

Proof? People really should STOP posting deals til they have proof. Posting deals for heat whoring is pretty sad (talking mainly about £120 PS3 deal at ASDAS that doesn't exist)

That was the final straw for me lol. Got excited for nothing.

Utter tosh.

If I find a good deal I post it. Why should I have to post 'proof' ??
If you don't believe me.. thats your problem.

Because you could posting any old crap just for some heat which is seriously sad.

Hi,

I'm quite new to this site but also hang out on Moneysavingexpert and stuff like this is great for helping folk get out of debt too...

Eg. Buy this for £3 in Morrisons and sell to CEX for £7 or £6.50 to Grainger Games or £5 at Game...

I appreciate that this might not be great news for everyone on here but I'm sure it will help some folk out

I hold my hands up and admit I'm in debt so if I can make a few quid as I go through the month although what I wouldn't and couldn't condone is buying dozens of the same game for profit as thats just greedy and really does go against the principle of this site as far as I'm concerned.

So if I was in Asda picking up a pint of milk and spotted that they had a great deal which could save someone in the HDUK community some cash and I don't have proof because I have neither bought nor had my phone/cam to take a shot of it I shouldn't post it?

Surely it's better to post it with a concise description for someone else to maybe follow up with proof? I've always thought of this site as somewhere to shout out a good find... I think it's become a victim of it's own success and a lot of people who expect too much and contribute too little?

This is why I'm saying this

hotukdeals.com/dea…e=8

Fair enough that this Forza "deal" is obviously not as big as the one above but it's still £20 off normal price. If I'm going shopping I would always take my phone with me. As for contributing very little - Eveythime I see a good deal I come and post it here but 9/10 they are already posted.

I'm not saying you personally are contributing very little so please don't take my comments the wrong way - it wasn't directed personally at you as I don't know you from Adam

The difference with the PS3 deal is that it hadn't started while what I'm describing is something there, on the shelf and waiting to be bought.

Absolutely if someone posts a bogus deal and wastes everyones time that's one thing and the site should perhaps maybe look at giving people a 3 strike membership? But if someone sees something and can't provide proof then it's not necessarily for that person to provide proof as it could put a lot of people off posting and a lot of great deals not being posted...

Sadly I'm a bit old skool and hate my phone so calling it "mobile" would be optimistic although I do occasionally leave it in different rooms around the house lol.

I appreciate your honesty, but why do you think buying one to make a profit is OK yet buying dozens is wrong? Personally I would rather you buy dozens of the game and get yourself out of debt rather than save me a couple of quid on a game that is not essential to my life. Seriously I hope you get out of debt, it's not a nice place to be. Merry Christmas

Hi Lenus,

Thanks I really appreciate your concern I am working my way out of debt and in the past if I'm honest I would probably have scrabbled to get what I could regardless of anyone else

Basically for me, it's about karma I guess LOL - I'm entitled to to buy one (or maybe a couple if there are loads) to make a quick buck the same as anyone else but as a member of this community I'd rather give all my HDUK Bro's and Sista's a chance too because just maybe some of those games are going to go to kids to play and enjoy and who am I to deprive them of that?

Ok, I respect that. I did the same a couple of years ago when I was unemployed, but I just see it a little differently guess.

I'm not sure if I can share this here but an organisation called CAP have helped my friends out of debt. They are a charity and have no fees. This is their website.

Y'see! a community pulling together I've heard of these guys but I've actually got a debt management plan with Step Change - I'm 7 months in and have just under 3 years to go before I'm debt free! Although I aim to reduce that time scale by as much as possible where I can.

Hmmm... Now I'm thinking that there should probably be some sort of cross sell between HDUK, MSE and Debt Charities? Lenus... We may be able to resolve the UK's financial crisis if we all just get along and pull together! LOL

Kudos for publicly being a pauper ... so it's ok to buy one to sell on but not multiples

I'd just like to say don't call morrisons to check stock levels please. Yes it means you have to risk going in but calling is pointless as the staff become aware and simply nab them all...
I've seen it myself and it means no one will get anything

Up to the individual I guess but in my opinion if you are a member here then you're in a community so show some community spirit if I see two copies of something on a shelf and I know I can make a profit then I'll take one and leave the other (and depending on forum activity) post that I'd recently seen a single copy on the shelf at my local... If I see ten copies (and I can afford a couple) then I may take a couple and post that there are several copies...

If that makes sense, it's just how I roll...

WTF you on about mate? How is that sad? I wasn't kicking off and just made a legit comment. If you're going to post deals with big savings then you should provide as much information/proof as possible if it's not online.

Also, what you on about £2 saving? I've had bit to drink tonight so exuse my conusion.

I don't think he would take the time to do that. He posted a picture with the sticker on also, is this not enough proof for you? I believe the OP 100% as I do with all these deals. 'Heck I think you're the "sad" one trying to boo his post.

He posted that pick after I posted the comment so I apologise TC . Look I'm just trying to stop people from wasting other peoples time and few people on here post deals just for heat so get lost.
