Wow this is cheap, fantastic game too. If you don't own this and you love cars, you're seriously missing out

Gr-r-reat :-D

Hot. great game. You can't go wrong at this price. Heat added.

Well, it did come out in October 2009, so eight months ago (lots of games are falling sharply in price - Killzone 2 fell very fast as well for example). Can't complain - I grabbed FM3 in February for £15.

Season play can get a bit dull (into season five ... it's just so long!), but mixing up with some of the hotly-debated online play certainly helps.

Maybe, but it is one of the 360s signature titles. MW2 has been out about the same amount of time and was still £40 up until a month ago, even now you can't get much change from £30

MW2 and MW1 for that matter, are cross-platform and have both held prices well. MW1 is still about £15-£20 I think?

As for signature titles, I mentioned KZ2 and also LBP fell sharply and quickly for the PS3 too. So did Halo 3 on the 360 (I think?) - likely due to moving into the budget range of Platinum/Classics.

This price is possibly due to a future 'Classics' release on the horizon then? Not sure - I guess FM3 sales figures would clarify.

Yeah, MW1 still can't really be found for less than £20 after a couple of years!

Halo 3 never fell as sharply as this. It did fall, but nowhere near this much, this quickly. Don't really know enough about KZ2/LBP to comment really.

I would take a guess that the reason Forza3 has dropped so quickly in price, is because the devs are hoping to make quite a lot of money on the downloadables instead. There are about 6 chargable car packs I believe, as well as track packs, avatar items, dashboards, etc.

Yeah the DLC is aimed at being monthly, so supplementing sales via DLC is one way to go, but the bottom-line profit is anyone's guess.

I read that FM3 has sold close to 4m units world-wide since launch, which is very impressive really!

I was late to the 360 parade, so only ever saw Halo 3 dirt cheap. Arkham Asylum/Bayonetta/Tekken 6 all dropped in price quite fast too. I think we must read in to things too much and just be happy that games are cheaper now than ever before

Bought this on release and have only recently got round to playing it.It's actually really good and well worth picking up at this price.Nice find !

is it a massive upgrade on forza 2?

Wouldn't say it's a massive upgrade TBH.Graphics are superb (better then Forza 2) and I have found it quite a bit easier than its predecessor so far. It's well worth getting at this price, even if you already own Forza 2.The time rewind thing is a bit pants on it though.

Agreed, the rewind ruins it, you can just pile in and then rewind if it all goes wrong. Im sure that people are going to say that you don't have to use it.... but you will!!!

Valid point to note, but any 'hot laps' are marked as being "invalid" if rewind is used - your fastest lap times will only count properly with a perfect lap

Downgrade, other than the storefront, graphics and tracks. Everything else is worse, especially the multiplayer and PI balance. They seem to have made the game (noob friendly).

Maybe its at this price as there is 5 car packs a 400 microsoft points each and a track pack at 400mp also
