I have got one for £166 from Fossil directly and it's excellent watch but terrible battery life. Hardly lasts 8 hrs when usefull options are turned on but I think this is the main concern with most smart watches in the market.

I got the same deal on the gen 5 but I get a full day and end the day with 50% with all features turned on. That includes, ambient display on, heart rate tracking, nfc and location etc. I don't really play with the watch besides workout tracking, payments and notifications. I may reply to the odd message via voice but battery life is still a day quite comfortably.

Very very pretty watch!.

With wear os you should fully expect to charge every night, just like a phone.
We aren't at a point where it will reasonable do more as most of us charge overnight, it won't be a useful battery life increase until they get to 2 full days instead of 1.2 or 1.5 days.

Great watch, wear it everyday. Don't miss my apple watch series 2.
I got one two months ago and am happy with it apart from the untethered GPS issues i am having. I don't think it has tracked one run I have done with it correctly when I haven't taken my phone with me. From what I have read online it appears it's a WearOS software issue that Google have been aware of for months but haven't fixed.
battery life is only 5 hours

Have a quick Google about disabling apps on it. I disabled a load of stuff running in the background that I wasn't using (like Google Translate and a few system apps). I went from struggling to make it to bedtime to making it through the day with 60% battery to spare.

There's also apparently a bug with the 'tilt to wake' feature. 'Always on' actually uses less battery right now.

Check my comment above about disabling unnecessary apps. I've been wearing mine all day for step tracking and notifications, and I'm currently sitting at 87%.

Strange. With everything on I can very easily get a full day. That's with GPS usage.

Sounds like you have some issues there.

I have the MK Grayson watch which is basically one of these watches from same manufacturer, and get a steady measured 30 hours with all features on and heavy use.

Thank you for the advice.

I got the Carlyle on the fossil sale but haven't had a proper chance to give it a battery test
I got this exact watch from amazon in January for £167 (get your time machines out) but I find the battery life is great last a day easy, but I have disabled the microphone as I kept setting off Google assistant which is the only button that can't be changed 😡

40959992.jpgNo need to disable the mic you can turn off the detection of "OK google" in the settings of the watch. First thing I did.

Unless you mean you kept triggering the assistant by long holding the crown button. In that case I guess turning the mic off would be the only fix

Any help is appreciated

Perfect thank you!

Looks like I already switched it off.
Very cold price. I've had this for £169 months ago from Amazon.
I'm going to sell mine for 140 with the addition of a orange silicone strap.

Purchased from amazon about 6 months ago. Anyone interested?
