I've not really considered a smartwatch as such before, apart from maybe the Samsung Gear models. I think this fills a gap at the current price point, for someone that doesn't really want to stretch too far cash wise. The reviews aren't too shabby either, with most of them being reviewed at a much higher price point (some at £100 more)

Works with Android OS 4.3+ and iPhone 5/iOS 9+

It does has fitness tracking capabilities, although it you're wanting to track HR then this won't be for you. There's a few different colours, including a leather strap option, which also looks really nice and not too OTT

Supports social media platforms, texts, emails app arlerts and all that good stuff. As I say, I feel this sits nicely and fills a gap, especially for those that want something toned down in looks (Over some models, not all ) Looks pretty sleek, functional and at a price point that doesn't feel like you have to sell a limb to afford

@HamanBasher I'm not seeing anything that suggests you can pay like a Jedi, sadly.
Any GPS on these?
Bought similar one for the wife at christmas. Returned it do to very poor battery (less than 24hrs). Also feels very cheap, and stainless steel strap is very heavy and chunky. Comes with useless charger (magnetic) that slips off very easily.

It looks nice but I want to get away from emails, social media and the constant oppression from notifications all day long. So yeah I won't be buying it. Nice for people who love all that stuff though.
Outside temperature seems an odd but nice feature, GPS and nfc and I'm sold. Seems a decent price though.
I bought this from Argos the other day and its a cracking watch for the money

So you didn't buy this one....who's to say this watch has the same problems??
So no GPS and no NFC? These should be standard as of at least 1-2 years ago.

A Gen.3 and in a different colour. Though the charger is still the same on this, and the Gen. 3's are supposed to last longer than the Gen.2 (like this one). To be fair to Fossil though, they refunded no questions asked.
