Extremely poor. Got one for xmas, and returned it, as so bad. And very heavy, very cheap metal.
Gen 4 Q explorist silicon looks nice. My ticwatch died after seeing a few inches of water for the first time, and mobvoi have told me to go f@@@ myself.
Got the mk version of this last Xmas for sub £100..its alright as my Mrs says but battery life is less than 1 day
Yes, they are out and they look pretty good to me.
The Gen 4 models are out now - right?
£80 in the fossil outlet retail store in Mansfield and available in all black.
Bit more info wouldn't have gone amis.
If you scroll to the bottom, you should see a black bar just above the very bottom that has a box to put in your email address. :)
Out of stock online
How do you get the newsletter sign up? I cant get any pop ups while browsing the website :(
Not that bad . Reviews here :- More of a watch than a smartwatch https://www.smartgeekwrist.com/fossil-q-wander-review/ https://www.techradar.com/uk/reviews/wearables/fossil-q-wander-1327670/review https://www.wareable.com/fossil/fossil-q-wander-review
only that brown model
Yeah my other gen 3 model I had was lasting around 20+ hours.
Same my Q wander usually has a good amount left by the end of the day (but doesn't last overnight to the next day).
Maybe you are lucky....just keep hold of that receipt. Its a very nice watch...but left me feeling a tad disappointed
My battery has been fine, normally around 25 percent left at the end of each day
You'll be lucky. Had mine for 3 months and the battery would last no more than 4 hrs. Chucked it on for refund. They offered me another one but read horror stories about average battery life and not going down that road again. Good price. Crap battery life
the code does not work..so disappointing (mad) !!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordere the fossil Q Nate but the 20% off code didnt seem to work :(
How long do the batteries last on these? I know they quote a year, but bluetooth/activity tracker/vibration coming off a little watch battery.... What's real world usage like?
Haha yes, I’ll try that next time!
Thanks - Ordered.
You can get the notifications, I mean you can get a buzz, that you have something. Also, it measures and displays your steps.
Have some heat, after wearing a Huawei Band for a year I would miss my notifications and step counter, and the fact it vibrates when I walk too far from my phone, (reminding me I have left it behind - again!) but the fact it won't last a week without charging, and it isn't exactly 'styish' makes this look like a great compromise. Voted hot.
I have got the bracelet hybrid watch. Absolutely love it. This is a good price considering their hybrid watches are above £150. Definitely heat.
Agreed it's comical and regularly drops connection with my phone. Causes trouble connecting to one of my cars too.
Interesting their smart watches were all oos 2 weeks ago but seem to be back in stock now.
Currently £95 in the Silver bracelet version
Battery is free replacement at any fossil store like swatch
Main things i find useful are step and sleep tracking and vibrations when my phone rings...useful for when it's on silent. It's very much basic smart functionality, however my view was that a 'standard' decent looking fossil watch was £60 so not much more to get some basic smart features
Thanks for the info. The guy in the store said the battery was covered as part of the warranty albeit you are right, even if he was incorrect in this statement its only a £2 replacement job
What's smart about these?
Rated 4/5. Not great review???
I've got one. Love it so far. Well made and work ass it should
I have just got one. Great was able to press my watch to take a photo.
Got two Skagen ones (which is owned by Fossil I believe). The software is a bit buggy but other than that I would recommend them if you dont need the advanced features of an Android/iWatch. Battery life is pretty good as well so no complains if you need it only for notifications.
As a watch it seemed okay but not particlularly as a smartwatch which I imagine is why most people would buy it
And who got the question right on The Chase tonight ? (y) oh yes .
Thanks mrew42 Have often put the wrong their / there in the place of the other..Probably wont be the last.
When a notification or alert arrives a gentle buzz lets you know right away !.This probably only applies to the small amount of people that dont actually walk round with there phone in there hand / glued to there ear whilst talking s*** / listening to music or telling the world on facebook there struggling to hold there costa coffee because its to hot !! whilst walking down the road. But then theres always vibrate .Nice watch though .
Black oos at checkout
Only black avaialable
£95 on Amazon if you've already had the discount.
Mine was instantly. Check spam etc.
Haha I did exactly the same. Tried then took to Timpsons.
I've signed up for e-mails, they then e-mailed me to confirm the sign up, haven't heard anything since. How long until I receive the 15% off code?
Funny you should say that... I tried to adjust the band myself and gave up in then end and went to Timpsons, local jeweller wanted more !
no android pay as no NFC https://www.fossil.com/us/en/products/gen-2-smartwatch-q-marshal-brown-leather-sku-ftw2106p.html
A Gen.3 and in a different colour. Though the charger is still the same on this, and the Gen. 3's are supposed to last longer than the Gen.2 (like this one). To be fair to Fossil though, they refunded no questions asked.
So no GPS and no NFC? These should be standard as of at least 1-2 years ago.
So you didn't buy this one....who's to say this watch has the same problems??
I bought this from Argos the other day and its a cracking watch for the money
Which part do you think you got right 🤔?
I thought Fossil used STP, Swiss Technology Production, so technically had a Swiss movement. Never owned one, but was under the impression they were a decent brand at that price point.
So so soo tempting. Using an Apple Watch at the mo so I’m handicapped
Fossil make watches for Michael Kors who then treble the price simply for putting MK on the front.
Got 3 thanks op:D
Still £112 on their website but when you add it to your basket it goes up to £161.
Great price though the 24 hour bat life and water resistant (not proof) put me off.
Great deal... thanks
about time smart watches start to look attractive and less like children's watches! (y)
I can state they were still at this price Monday as tried them on (in Mansfield). The Gen 2 are a good looking solid item, nice weight, (comparable to my PO). Nice screen. A lot nicer than my Apple Watch which has now sat in my draw for a few months... anyone want a 42MM rose gold series 2?
Gen 3 is thinner, plus looses the flat tyre screen (now fully round)
Oops forgot to read this yesterday. I bought two last night. However I don't think I'd use it to talk on my calls anyway I'd just pick my phone up and do it that way
So far there is a problem with phone calls on the watch no one can here me seems to be a common problem so I might take it back
What's the reviews like so far mark?
Got my watch yesterday. Been quite pleased with it, it's a nice quality item. A wee bit thicker than I had thought but doesn't feel overly chunky once on. Certainly an upgrade on my Sony Smartwatch.
Ordered. Not fussed by GPS or heart rate but excited to see if it's any good.
Cheap, but no built in GPS or heart rate if you want to use it for sports
I love my Qfounder with wear 2. Great battery life and very smart :)
Ordered 4 the wife. Cheers O
Just black available now brown is oos
Just ordered one, thanks for posting! Heat added :D
Have some heat!
Anyone know if this would fit a 6s with a case? Great gift idea. Heat added. Edit: one of the reviews suggest they can fit a galaxy s7 in with a case but it's tight. The iPhone 6s is smaller so should be fine if anyone else was wondering.
