yet more deals for scroungers, what a country we live in!

lol :whistling:

hopefully everyone who is entitled to these will try and get them, this will reduce overall energy demand, bringing everyone's prices down a tad...that should shut up the moaners.

I can't believe spiteful and ignorant some people can be. you may have a chip on your shoulder or just be plain stupid but keep your nasty comments to yourself. you may enjoy being a bitter and miserable person but don't ruin it for the rest of us.

good find f10na hope people make the most of it

[CENTER]I've removed all argumentative replies and those conatining derogetary remarks and statements. Thus, we're down from 20-odd posts to just two. Hang your heads in shame.

This is a section for finding freebies. This is a freebie. It clearly lists who is elegible in the original post. If you want to argue the toss about benefits then feel free to start a thread in Misc (keeping it civil) or, better still, get in touch with the company offering the freebies.

Anyone who continues this discussion in this thread, or fails to be civil towards other HUKD members in accordance with the ]forum code of conduct then they will receive a 24-hour suspension from HUKD.

Thanks for the post, f10na. It's a great find.

Seems some people just can't help themselves! :x:roll:

Any British Gas customer will be receiving 4 of these shortly too for free, starting with people in Scotland then everyone else in the next month or two

I'm a new customer of British Gas in Scotland, but I haven't recevied yet, might b only work for old customer?

Thanks, great freebie, i qualify on 3 counts so am chuffed with that. Heat added:)

Received a package this morning from Response Centre Unit, Dunoon labelled E-ON and inside were the bulbs, I live in Ayrshire. Have been using energy saving bulbs for quite some time and would highly recommend them.

I missed the argument, but agree that all ppl should be entitled to them.

I'm on child tax credit=so would be entitled to it,but its just my opinion.

Hi they are philips 10 year energy savers you get 2 60 watt and two 75 watt

in case you not elegible
they are 3 for £1 @ morrisons, John Lewis (sometime ago not sure if still on)

I never read the deleted posts so can't comment on them But i think many people who are hard working and pay their own way are sick to death of hearing about all the freebies other people are getting (council tax, prescriptions, dental care, etc even vets bills)
If these are only a quid for 3 why bother, surely people on those benefits can afford to buy them
Or why not just give them to every household

Yeah, I think they should give them to every household. So when they run out, you can give them back for a free replacement and they're recycled.
