Yeah - I think I would prefer to pay £10 extra at Amazon - IF I wanted the R6 - but I am minded to go for the Meshify instead..

What's wrong with ebuyer? I bought couple things from them and everything was fine. Did I miss something?
fractal design cases are awesome - well worth the money. i've got my home server in an R4 and my daily driver work machine in an R5, and I'll most likely look at the R6 for my next build next year. roomy, easy to work with, and well thought-out - and the reviews suggest the R6 is even better.

Buying components... Yes, Id be worried too. but this is a PC case, unless the courier destroys it with an orbital strike from mars, there is nothing to worry about. In any case (pardon the pun) if ebuyer dont want to deal with your return of the case should anything be wrong with it. Fractal are always great people to deal with and will sort you out.

A lot of the builds I have made for myself and aswell as others have stood the test of time as far as the case is concerned. With Fractal cases. you get at least 3 or 4 re-builds for the price of one case. The case holds up so well over time that spending money on a new case for a new build is pointless.

Worthy investment for a subtle looking case.

I think you can even buy a windowed side panel for this case so if you want a bit of a change, months or years down the line, you should be able to order a windowed side panel from Fractal.
Have the r5 and made dozens of builds before . Amazing cases to build in fractal ones are.
Can confirm, Fractal Define R series is excellent. Ultra freaking quiet, looks good, plenty of space inside. Can't go wrong.
It's an excellent case - I have one. But be warned it's definitely on the Quite Large side.
They make fantastic (pun intended) fans... (hence quiet) I like corsair 200r for smaller case size.
Fractal are brilliant I’m useing the r5 case but on the lookout for the window side panel as I have the non windowed version,

Have to concur with all the statements, enthusing Fractal Design cases, got the R4; dismantle the components as MB failed, long story short, somehow lost all the screws, got in touch with them, was pointed to the spare parts shop in Europe, voila ordered the set of screws that came with the R4.Here is the link for the R5 windowed panel.Be warned, the postage bit steep for my liking.

It's a shame they aren't making any new XL cases. Had the XL R2 for years and love it.

a while ago they changed their returns policy from a quite liberal one, almost on par with amazon, to the strict letter of the law without telling anyone, you only found out the hard way when you tried to return something.

I believe it has a bay at the top if you remove the front panel, doesn't seem to get mentioned or photographed though.

Someone ripping their cd collection.
One left at Amazon if you prefer dealing with them, same price.

Unless you really need the extra space for hard drives, I would go with the meshify C with tempered glass for a tenner less. Better airflow too from what I've read. If it comes down on Prime day, I'll be all over it.

R6 is higher end flagship case fro Fractal. To me definitely worth the £10 with the extra feature. the meshify C have slightly better thermal, but R6 is quieter with sound dampening, bigger CPU fan space. i did say its higher built quality and internal design as well.

I dont think its likely to get cheaper on prime day. probably go back to normal price by then infact

No I meant the Meshify, if that drops in price I'll take one. Better case for my needs.
Heat added - Love Fractal and had been looking at this for a new build or the Meshify but as much as I like the mesh front panel and great thermals I dont like the design of the front of the Meshify with all the jagged edges on the panel.

Ive had my home build in a Fractal case for over 7 years now. About 3 years ago I broke the USB3 input on the front panel by mindlessly shoving a pair of headphones in the wrong way, emailed the support, advised what a tool I had been and asked how I could buy a replacement, they ended up sending me a full new front panel for free. Great company with great service.
Got my PC in an R5 case with ten hard drives (2 of them are 2.5") and still room to spare. It's a great case, although a tad big for an everyday PC maybe I'd say.
