Great price for this, already have the DVD but still tempted.

Damn, great price. I got mine on release late last year, and it must of been £60+ or something.

It was well over priced (and ridiculously oversized) tbf. But this is a good price for a collectors' edition.

You get: the Francais Pour Une Nuit DVD (single disc, foldout sleeve, no real frills), a rather nice exclusive t-shirt (Large), 5 large postcards, an neat exclusive laminate - and a copy of the magnificent Death Magnetic CD in a slipcase.

Watch out for portions of the box's artwork slightly overlapping the box's edges, it's very easy to tear it. The box is just too big for items inside though.

The DVD is great, but the new Live in Mexico is even better. It's the best live Metallica CD/DVD release yet. So you'll need both if you're a fan.

Looks nice but that's still expensive in my humble opinion. What are you getting a CD, DVD, tshirt and a few bits and pieces.

[edit] I still think S&M live with the Symphony was awesome

Why doesn't this say Metallica in the heading? I'm a fan but didn't know it was Metallica!

Just ordered, could'nt resist at the price. Considering what price it is everywhere else,it's a good deal. I already have the blu-ray too......but what the hell:thumbsup:

Funny, this collectors boxset doesn't come with the blu ray

if it did, I probably would have bought it

Yeah, I agree. I'm a huge Metallica fan - saw them in Glasgow last year - but I wouldn't pay £40 for this. Metallica merchandise is usually way too expensive.

A CD that you should already own (and I do), a DVD that's not as good as the Mexican one, a t-shirt (might be nice, can't see it) and some stuff you'll look at once then forget about.
