This used to be £16.

It was that price for about a decade.

Fair warning, the queue for the wine sometimes takes longer than the crossing.

Anyone aware if this offer will be on end of October for November dates? Presume this deal only came out in the last day or so on their website so hoping its an end of month offer they will repeat next month for November departures.

No easier just nipping down to Lidl's !?
Be careful guys. This might shut down too and you're 25 quid out of pocket!
We did this earlier in the year. The free wine is pretty grim but it was a good excuse for a nice day trip & yes there was a long queue for the wine
Anyone who smokes tobacco it is much cheaper in Belgium, about a 40 min drive from Calais.
Good Find , Thanks

P&O used to belong to Thomas cook but sold to the Saudies 5-10 years ago. Like most companies in UK.

What ?! I didn't know that about P+O! Thanks for the insight.
If you decide to go to Bologne-Sur-Mer then watch out for the pavements which are literally covered in dogs**t, can't comment on the rest of France but boy was it disgusting having to constantly avoid s***.

Bye then
Huge effort for little return unless you live close to the departure point.
after x6 of wine i dont need usualy any returns:)))
Had to pay a massive £2 more for a weekend date :). Heat added, thank you Chanchi32
Any names of close by shops after crossing to buy wine from please?
Are they 75cl bottles of “free wine”? Technically, it’s not free wine as it’s included in the cost of your return. Good find OP! Heat added
Visa included
Done this trip (using the same deal) previously. The free wine was Banroch Station Shiraz, a perfectly drinkable Aussie red.
I made the trip worthwhile by driving to Adinkerke (just over the Belgian border) and stocking up on tobacco. Then came back via the Auchan hypermarket in Dunkirk to fill up with french wine and belgian beer. (Buy one case of wine, get one free on certain wines). You can see the special offers on their website auchan.fr
catalogue.auchan.fr/cou…by/
Don't forget the VIVINO app on your phone - it tells you all about the wine (usually) simply by photographing the label on the bottle. Its a free app.

You didn't know, because it's not true!
P and O cruises got merged with Carnival cruises
P and O ferries bought by DP - Dubai ports
Be carful I booked mine on Sunday for 27th October apparently I’ve now been told by P&O that that day is not giving away the free bottles of wine deal
not happy
