Cracking deal. Can anyone sub me the petrol money down from Glasgow and back? Heat added btw.

It's still 50p each way for foot passengers on consecutive days ie you can overnight in France

I've paid a lot less for a car to France, this doesn't look too hot

£1 return for foot passengers plus a free bottle of wine sounds good

Who cares?... a trip and a bottle of wine for a quid.....

heat added for price

Two hours with a boat full of screaming kids doesn't sound like fun. Passenger fares are usually very cheap anyway. Consider the cost of getting to Dover and the parking fees at the port.

Does anyone know if you can book 2 day returns a couple of weeks apart and go out on the 1st one and back on the 2nd?? I see above you can do consecutive days on 1 ticket

Anyone know the cheapest place to park at dover? Normally take the car but fancy a change

Depends how good their systems are. I used to do this a lot with British Airways as it was cheaper at the time. They said it was not allowed under their T&Cs but I never got stopped.

Logically, anybody can miss a crossing out but find another way across and then need the original return journey. I can't see how they could stop you using your return journey in that scenario.

This is only 50p for foot passengers anyway through most ferry companies

No need to buy the sun and pay double!...Cold from me!

Typical... (_;)

I'd rather pay full price than financially support The Scum and it's odious little practices.

Exactly what I thought of your post.

Should I also point out to those of lacking IQ that you DON'T have to but the ****ty paper to get the trip for a quid?

Chaud, chaud, chaud!

Cheapest would be free on-street parking in residential roads off Maison Dieu Road (Godwyne Road, Salisbury Road etc). About 12 minute walk from there to Eatern Docks.

Any closer to the docks and it's pay-and-display or car parks only.

The link doesn't work

ehem .... HOW DO YOU REEDEM THE FREE WINE

The barriers were broken on the car park at the docks today, so it was free to park there anyway! Had a great day out for 3 of us for £3. Thank you OP
