All stainless sinks will flex with a long tap like this due to it acting as a lever. Of course the thinner the metal then the more pronounced it will be.

You need to fit a tap brace like this ....

Probably can be had cheaper elsewhere and i think B&Q sell it but their website is dire and took too long to link to.

Bought a Franke on offer with tap for £99 at b and q about 10 years ago. Was fantastic. Plumber was very impressed with it and the price.
Just ordered it, my mate is a plumber if he says it’s pants it’s going back. Thanx Op

Installed this in a mates house, it is very flimsy. Turn the tap and the it will tip slightly. Terrible quality for a branded sink, told him it was dire but the deal was to good to pass by now he regrets it
Worth it just for the tap which sells for more secondhand on eBay.

Tap sells for around £90-115 elsewhere
Yup, shame about the extreme torsion of the metal, it doesn't bode well.
Was about to buy but bad reviews put me off.
Franke living on it's good reputation of years gone by.

Unfortunately the quality has gone way down by skimping on materials it uses to save money.

Agree and it's the same for most things now
Brand name = quality? Not any more
I found these sinks on eBay - excellent value for the price. Bought two about a year ago, plumber was very impressed, and so are we. Feels like a premium product, at one third of the price. Sold directly by manufacturer (I think). Very sturdy.

Was a choice between this and Franke, and I do not regret the decision.

Paired with a Grohe tap from eBay (Argos outlet), £75 down from £150) for an extending shower spray kitchen tap. So happy.

great deal, just measured my existing one and it's 510mm though
Judging by the reviews, it should be "Frank Da Noob"

100% fact

This thing is a joke. We bought 2 and returned them both

I am sure some of the silicone utensils we had with plastic handles even caused scratches

I am still perplexed by this thing!

Don't buy it

For some reason that comment reminds me of that Dave Gorman episode (modern life is goodish) where he puts loads of combs for sale on Ebay because they were sold in packs of six from a pound shop.

I'd be very surprised if it's pants, that would be a considerable warehouse error

Stainless steel sinks mark. If you don't like it go for a ceramic or composite.

No, stainless steel is graded

This is by far the worst composition of stainless steel there is

You have no idea because you don't own one

But these were comical how easy they scratched
Works out £9.80 per kg as per description
I have this sink and tap and installed it myself 9 years ago. Its been great and I didnt need a tap support. The quality is good and the tap is as good as new and has never needed any maintenance. Sure stainless does scratch a bit but its a sink not a mirror and its far better than the previous white one which stained constantly. I dont know why people are pushing down on the tap as it only moves side to side and there is no flex if used correctly.
