Unfortunately I wouldnt even pay this for frankie and bennies, gone completely downhill and the food is just awful. Often do a 50% off voucher which I used a couple of months ago and got a main meal for £6 instead of £12 and there's no way it was worth that.

Probably better off with the meerkat meal two for one deals

Great deal of it works! Bought this last week and was made to pay £19.99 in the restaurant too even after showing I had already paid on groupon :/

We used it last week no problem. If they refuse then speak to management. Completely valid deal. Just check t & c’s too but they aren’t that bad..

To be honest we had a really decent meal in this deal last week and I’m quite fussy about having decent food, but it certainly delivered. I suppose it depends which F&B you go and how busy it is.. It wasn’t too busy when we went but started filling up an hour later.

What? Did they want to eat some hay too?
It is about the right price for their food. They’re management admit it is overpriced so no wonder they are doing these deals. Maybe if they dropped their normal prices and did decent food they would get more business.

Totally agree, went the other week using this voucher and the food was shocking!
Meerkat 2 for 1 only available sun to thur tho
Used one of these a few weeks ago. Food was ok but definitely wouldn’t have paid full price. I agree it has gone downhill in recent years and portions are smaller too.

This was our receipt for our 3 course meal last night....... and the food was that bad, we felt ripped off even at that price!

We tried eating there once before but couldn't get a table even though the place was only half full, so complained to head office - hence the £20 voucher we used from that.

Will not be eating there again for sure, even with the meerkat offer.

Did you show the groupon before hand?

The wowcher one a few weeks ago was the same price but included a pint (or bottle) of beer each so a lot better!I
I thought the food was good and decent selection, went a couple of times with wowcher. This one was good value with additional £2.50 quidco cashback ontop of the 20% groupon cash back last weekend.]Handy that you don't need to book so can just go in on a whim and also valid 7 days unlike the compare the market offer.

Yeah not saying it’s not valid just saying to make sure you don’t get charged twice like me

Yep showed everything in the right order just unfortunately was in a rush for a movie so couldn’t argue it but just sent an email to F&B customer service about it after contacting Groupon about it
P.s. used the wowcher too and have to agree it’s much better, F&B drinks can be a bit steep so it’s a great bonus!

That's annoying, when i went in with the wowcher they always warned us about the steak and what drinks were included and any other supplements, that was in Aberdeen, they were well clued in on the voucher and didn't want us to get surprises by ordering something which cost more.
Quality and portions not as good as a few years ago, I agree. The app is worth getting as it brings the food down to what it is worth. The desserts are particularly overpriced. Not sure how they keep going tbh.

Tried to do this to me too.

Took 20 mins or arguing with manager before the bone headed idiot finally absorbed the facts.

Even got the terms of the offer read out.

Still staff were decent and food just about worth the half price paid. Ridiculously reaching at full asking
.
Shame no drink this time as per wowcher deal, this made it a no brainer for me. Still a decent deal but not fantastic.
Last time I went to f&b the food was rank too.
Disgusting food and service, overpriced. Avoid.
F&B used to be okay. These days they are just awful and best avoided. Even with big discounts.

Was your food freshly cooked? Last time we went to F&B it was microwave stuff. You expect and accept that at Wetherspoons, but with mains at £15-18 I thought that was pretty poor at F&B.

I don't know how the F&B business model works, but I assumed they would all use the same methods in the kitchen (could be wrong).
Wouldn't go back to F&B. Had one bad meal and gave them a second chance, which was also just awful. Cheap, poor quality food that's cooked by people who don't give a ****. I'd rather have KFC or MacDonalds.
Last time I went with the Mrs and 2 year old, we all got food poisoning. Complained and they gave us a £15 credit..

Never going to return, so here it is for anyone that wants to use it.

After getting served chicken that still had parts with visible blood bits, I don't think I'm going to rush back to them anytime soon.
Absolutely horrendous food and service. I wouldn't go if they paid me!
From someone who will happily eat food from a bin, the food here is truly terrible. Either go to a fast food place and save yourself some money or go out to a nice pub for the same price as F&B's.
One of the worst chain restaurants out there at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if they go bust in the next few years.
