probably like a normal breakfast but coated with a barbeque sauce. It seems like everything they do is covered in the stuff.

steak and eggs for breakfast...wtf...no thanks

mmm.......heart attack breakfast

Woah! For 2 fried eggs, 1 slice of tomato and 1 flat mushroom and some potato they charge £6.25 - that's ridiculous!

Original Poster

I had the New England Breakfast (Bacon, two sausages, two fried eggs, Heinz baked beans, grilled tomato slice, flat mushroom and Frankie’s herb potatoes.) and unlimited tea; all for £5. Bargain in my books.

If their breakfast is anywhere as "Good" as their main menu then this is way overpriced!

2 for £2 would probably be ok seeing there is unlimted Tea/Coffee as surely they can't get that wrong!

Thanks op

Don't know if its been posted but if you download the Android F&B App it includes a £5 voucher off any evening except Monday. Just show the screen to your waiter. I did it on Saturday evening no problem. You have to buy at least 2 main courses from the main menu. You click on Promotional offers its the last one Offer of the month.

Think how many McMuffins you could get instead of this!!

Not a bad deal.

One of the worst breakfasts I've had. Sausage had bits of bone and gristle in it and the 'grilled' tomato looked like it had been microwaved. The coffee and herb potatoes were nice. Never again though, not worth 2 quid let alone 5 quid. The tables were also sticky and the menus covered in dried food, I've been to better greasy spoons, in fact all greasy spoons have been better than this place.

I really can't believe this hasn't been posted before...this has been around for months. We've done this a few times now and it makes a nice change from a traditional English Breakfast treat. It did used to be even better though because the unlimited refills included Cappuccino which was amazing, but unfortunately they reduced the offer to just filtered coffee which is not really my thing to be honest. Still, good value and a nice change in lovely surroundings.

excellent deal think ill go there this morning last time i had steak and eggs but got them to change the eggs to sausage and bacon (dont like eggs but do like steak!) mmmmmmmmmmm thanks!

as people say this has been around a good while - take the missus every now and again.

as far as im aware it includes all BUT the steak & eggs. and any form of coffee/tea (so cappuccino or lattes), also allows fruit juice too.

also, for the record steak and eggs is rather nice - shame use english cant see any further than a full english for breakfast - expand your horizons somewhat people!

thanks for sharing OP

We went last week to colliers wood and they said the coffee and tea was not included, only free refills AFTER you bought a tea or coffee!

The service was appauling and i had to complain about the cleanliness. All the cuttlery was very dirty, water stains the manageress said. However when you wiped the cuttlery it kinda smeared, ewwww. Furthermore on two of the knives there was dried food, one with rough bits on the handle and on the other tiny tiny bits stuck between the teeth of the knife.

Absolutely disgusting hygiene and cleanliness standards.

The food arrived after half an hour and was ok, but i shall definitely NOT be going again.

Cold as the antartic from me sorry.

I read the menu on Saturday while we were there I understood it to be extra to the £10

Thanks to all the great reviews, especially about cleanliness, will be avoiding this restaurant then!

Overrated overpriced American sh*te. Never been, never will.

Why dont people make their own? £6 feeds two tastes how u like it!

It all sounds a bit like TGI Fridays...I had to do some work in a few branches early in the morning before they had opened and even without the kitchens being open the stench of grease was over powering and every thing was covered in a greasy film. Even if I knelt down I had geasy trousers.

You cant please all the people all the time!

The F&B's around my area are always great. Importantly for me they are also very child friendly. If you want to go a greasy spoon, go a greasy spoon - but my kids love it in here and the staff are also very accomodating.

Was aware of this deal already but heat added for reminding folks that this exists

The breakfasts seem tobe overpriced in the first place. However, for £5, I think that you would get value for the larger breakfasts.

The website says Steak and Eggs are excluded from the 2 for £10 offer so bascially the best value (according to their prices) is the cooked breakfast consisting of one bit of Bacon, two sausages, two fried eggs, beans, tomato slice, flat mushroom and herb potatoes. Unless it is good quality food that is more expensive than a supermarket breakfast for less food. Unlimited drinks is a nice touch. I'd say pretty warm but not hot enough for me to vote I'm afraid

Good price, although it has been this price for over 12 months now.

better deal at tobery cavery - print voucher can be found on here = 2 full english breakfasts for 4.95 - bogof - dont know how much their tean and coffee is on top though

I'm amazed this has not been posted before. We have been going regually for 6 months (Sorry I didn't post).

We drink almost £10 worth of coffee while we are there, so works out great value for us. Staff have always been great too (Lakeside).
Pancakes, bacon and maple syrup this Saturday gone, mmmmm.

Overrated... Never been

That doesn't make sense. How can you make a judgment that something is overrated without experiencing it?

For the record, I've been to Frankie & Benny's about 10 times and love the food there. The calzone with meatballs is delicious. Had no issues with cleanliness (but I guess that depends on the location and if the manager is strict on hygiene), and we mostly go when it's somebody's birthday, in which case their meal is free. Price-wise it doesn't take the mick compared to other restaurants I've visited.

This website is full of such idiots. I think I might leave now.

Hasn't this been on offer for ages?

They do a 2 course evenings for £10 each its lovely we enjoyed it very much !
