My Sh*t Life So Far [Paperback]

Not to everyone's taste. Haven't read it myself, but supposed to be good.

Funny, if explicit, good price, hot.

At £3.95 just now I would say wait a week and get it for £1 in the Pound shops :-D

If our English friends read what he has been saying about England I doubt many would buy it..

He seems to be quite vitriolic about his fellow Glaswegians as well though.

He's the complete package

of sh*t!!!!

Good read... Heart him!

Can't stand the man, have seen him on a few game shows like you have been watching, 8 out of ten cats etc as well as stand up on michael macintyres roadshow / live at the apollo and he is far from funny/entertaining.

I wont be buying but for the price have voted nuetral.

Oh it's utter and complete vile toilet humour, it's great, but I'm quite immature

+1

Not very funny, recycles material endlessly, and has made his name by pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable - eg. jokes about the Whitehaven incident in the show the day after it happened.

It will be in Poundland by August, so hang on a bit longer.

You are absolutely right, he is very offensive.

.....but also very funny, IMO (although I agree with the recycling jokes part).

This world can be a gloomy and depressing place, where horrific things can (and do) happen. The best antidote to this is humour. What is the alternative? Wallow in self pity and be miserable? That serves no purpose whatsoever.

I used to like him in the early stages but soon grew tired of the same old Glasgow jokes time and time again.

do like him a lot...but as stated he really does recycle his jokes too much. Saw a live show a month or so back. Practically every joke I had heard on his stand up dvd, or Mock the week.

Thats why I think he stated he would retire before he hits 40 so that he doesnt run out of material.

Good deal for the book.

BTW his website is awesome (for those who like FB)

So a few fans of his on here then (you're the ones are you?). You all say he 'recycles his jokes' but you've just said he will 'retire before he hits 40 so he doesn't run out of material'. Surely he's ALREADY 'run out of material' if he's telling the same jokes over and over again?

And can I ask, why 'FuBo' in the OP title? I understand Susan Boyle's 'SuBo' ie the first letters of her first and surname but 'FuBo'??? Is that a self given name?

Roll on his 40th I say.

He was on Jonathan Ross show last Friday, and JR called him FuBo (though I guess that should be FrBo).

i have this book, my sister got it me as part of my christmas pressy ( only because she will have read it first before wrapping it up). i keep it in the bog for casual reading. it is amusing in parts. i would say it is worth the cheap price tag for fellow bog book readers like me.
light reading.
