Free £1 Amazon digital video credit with prime purchases

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I've only just found it out this morning. If you've got Amazon prime and you order something (for Christmas for example).. if you click on delivery details and select the "No rush" option, your account gets credited with £1 for a digital video.. handy for renting something for the kids over Christmas. Just with this mornings purchases I've made enough to buy a new film
Some might says there's no point in having prime if you don't use the delivery, but the no rush option is still 3-5 working days, which is well before Christmas

Hope this helps somebody out.

If I'm ordering more than one thing I'll put each item through as a separate order, that means multiple credits.

if you have digital credits you can use them for digital goods like films, tv box sets.albums, books and depending on how much you have saved up you can pay in full or part .

"If you are using your No Rush Kindle, video, music or appstore credits, then you can accumulate your credits and use them towards your next purchase. For all other No Rush credits, you can redeem only one promotional credit per qualifying order."

It's only the non-digital credits (for example the Pantry credit that comes around every so often) that can't be combined. The digital credits are combined like a gift card balance.

Yep, go to amazon video and click on anything in the "rent or buy" section. On the right hand side where the payment options are there's a blue "more purchase options" link that you need to click, this will bring up a pop up... In the pop up click "Redeem a gift card or promotion code" and that will tell you how much promo credit you have.

good deal if you don't know. Prime pretty pays for itself if you always use no rush.

Sorry new to this. So can you use the credits to make purchase on Amazon Prime, like movies?

Thanks. I've placed an order today and used the no rush option and I can see I have £1 Amazon video credit.
I also have a gift certificate balance of about £15.
If I were to purchase a movie do you know if the Amazon Video is used first and then the gift certificate balance?
Thanks.
