Notes:
(1) As per the terms, this is intended for development use not production.
(2) It will expire in 12 months, at which point you'll be given 7 days notice.
(3) This subscription's normal price £89.28 a year (paying £7.44 per month), so assuming you decide not to renew you'll want to backup anything you have on OneDrive before the end of the notice period.

Having had to use Orifice 365 at work, I have no real desire to repeat the experience at home
is this only for ppl who are smart with computers?the 'wow' comment got me interested but I didn't comprehend anything else so :/
As this clearly says, it's the developer program. It is against the licence agreement to use in a live environment. It will need to be separate to any existing licences / accounts you may have so no, you cannot add it to an existing subscription or convert a "normal" sub to a developer and back again.

It's also an enterprise product so is meant for use with online services such as Exchange, SharePoint and Skype online - it will assume you either want to connect to existing services, or create new ones. Whilst this won't stop you downloading a copy of the 365 client (Office 365) to your laptop / tablet etc and it will be pretty much identical to the "normal" client, the licence here is not just for the client itself, but mainly for the use of the online services connected to it.

Potentially, it's a very large and complicated hammer to crack a small nut.

A much easier solution, if you have Office 365 at school, uni or work, is to speak to your IT department and find out if you can download a copy of the client to use at home.

You would imagine it is with the possibility of 25 users on the same developer account

It defaults to 1TB per user, but Office 365 Enterprise E3 Business is listed as unlimited so I presume this is too.

Edit:
You get 5TB per user, plus you can request as much more as you like...

(Reposted as quoted the wrong reply)

I'm not sure this is possible as I think the OneDrive is associated with a Microsoft Developer account.

Edit:
This is only true if you want to make use of the extra space you get with the subscription, otherwise you can sign into your free personal OneDrive with the standard 5GB

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: It's not that complicated, I listed the steps I think they should be sufficient. Microsoft probably make it less than easy to discourage people signing up to use this as their personal subscription.
nice thanks.
how do i get microsoft visio and run it on a mac

It is against the terms of the license agreement - however that doesn't seem to stop most from faking the details...
Can u put this on an Apple Mac
Any way to add this to an existing business subscription that anyone knows?
Anyone know if auto-renew is on?

I really don't want to forget about signing up and getting a surprise this time next year

Done, Working as expected. Thanks op!!!
So what's the difference between the normal version and this version, does it do everything the same ?
Can this be added to a personal account? Is it a code? Can it be added to an already ongoing sub?
If I go from a normal user to a developer can I revert back to a normal user at end of 12 months and still keep all data stored on my one drive ?

You could just share access from your normal OneDrive account with your new OneDrive account. Then at the end of the 12 months just dump anything new back onto your original OneDrive.
Great Stuff! Thank you On both PC and Mac

The £1.50 365 Pro offerings on Ebay are pretty good, don't know how they do it. But the provided account works fine for me.
Don't bother, even for free, office 365 is utter garbage, just an excuse to get people onto an annual license fee.

I didn't put in any bank details. So if that is their plan, I think they may have got it a little wrong

Dont forget if your Employer has licences in the workplace check to see if they have signed up for Microsoft HUP (home use programme). It allows you to buy and keep (yes a FAT version) of Office for about £12.

I did this at my last job (and I only paid £8) but I found the version of Office lagged behind the Office 365 I used on another PC in the house (linked to an alumni account that hasn't been deactivated yet) in terms of features. That's the difference between the standard one-off purchase of Office and a 365 subscription. The one-off version only gets security updates as they try and push users towards 365

If this doesn't bother you, get the £12 version. If it does use the Office 365 version from work (and get the £12 version when you leave).
Hi is this deal compatible with a mac pro?
How much would renewal be after 12 months? Is it charged per user?
