Love it, Starling has to be my favourite banking app, tells me instantly how much I have spent an where, customer service is second to none. Like I say "Starling I love you", sorry about that guys but it really is great especially for spending abroad as well.

When I hear "monese" I can't help but think of George from Fonejacker.
I like it but takes an hour for money to arrive on card and it charges £4.99 per month for 6 withdrawal per month then £1 fir each withdrawal . Max £300 per day . Monzo is better but very strict

As far as i'm aware, they don't do credit checks on signup, although they do need the usual forms of ID so it still counts me out.

need to pay ~£5 card delivery fee which eats into the free cash
Borax! Forgot to use the PERK2019 code at sign-up.
The code has to be entered on the very first page under invite code. If you miss this stage they won't help you at all and you can't have 2 accounts or go back to the beginning. I spent days with CS at new year trying to rollback an account application but they weren't having anyof it.

Their CS is shocking... Even their 'live chat' has something like a 3-4 hour turnaround.

There's no monthly charge for the starter package - just the £1 per withdrawal from the card.

So if you withdraw money 6 times a month you are worse off
Is there any charge to use it online? Could you just transfer the money out to another account after making an online payment and then shut it down? Doesn't seem as though it's a long term account when compared to the competition.
Use TCB and the code to effectively get £31.16 free - take off £5 quid for the card and it's still £25 quid free - obviously if TCB pays.

Might be a roundabout way of paying for one of those government id cards since I don't have a passport or driving licence.

Buy one, open an account, do the transaction and the card is all but paid for.
You only get the money for a transaction with the physical card, which is free with a code from someone who is an account holder. Done it for my son today.

Does this look bad on my credit?

Do you have to register with that code ?
Yes you do
I've had a look at this. Do you have to download both the app and register for the debit card to get the £15 credit? I'm a bit confused as I thought that if you download the app, you set up your account within minutes and they then post you out a debit card as well, but further down the page, there is a section that says to apply for the debit card, so do you have to do both to get the free £15? Thank you.
This is in TCBs Terms and Conditions.

What will stop me getting cashback?
  • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
  • Promotional/voucher codes not posted and approved by TopCashback may affect your eligibility for cashback.

Does anyone know if the code is approved by TCB?

Best bank I’ve ever used, wouldn’t use any other.
I can believe that this deal only has 277°, and my one about very cheap spirits at Asda has well over a thousand.

This deal is for FREE MONEY. Can it get better than that? Heat added

Surely all banks need these IDs?

I know they say for money laundering reasons, but just don't give them permission to launder your money

No TCB on the PC. Did you do it via mobile? Or has TCB pulled it?
This sucks azz. Zero customer service. I'm trying to close my account after them not honouring the code and it is near enough impossible.
