Ebay direct from simba ?
COLD! no 10 year warranty and a used matress. NO THANKS
Currently trying the Otty mattress. Seems fairly different to the other similar type brands i.e. Simba, Eva, Casper etc in that it has 14cm springs below the foam layers.

You don't buy a used one for the pillows.

The offer was also on FB... If you buy a new mattress directly from them they include the two pillows.
OP was just suggesting a way to maximise savings.

The offer for the free pillows is for new mattresses. OP was just suggesting to return it for a refurbished one to save even more money.

OP edit the post because people are misunderstanding...

These will simply be the mattresses that customers returned within the 100 night trial. They would have been checked and a new mattress cover provided. Don't really see the problem when you're saving a lot of money.

I realise this but somehow still can't understand the concept of a refurbished mattress!!??
Personally would rather buy a new cheap mattress than a used high qaulity one.

Not like you sleep directly on the mattress... And these will have had minimal use and will have been checked.
I slept on a used, mattress that came with a rented property for years lol.
People sell their mattresses in good condition as well all the time.
REFURB DEPARTMENT!

To vote cold because of the refurbished mattress thing when the pillows don't involve buying a refurbished one is silly.
The pillows come for free with a brand new one. That's the offer that should be voted. The rest is just if you wanna save some money and get to keep the pillows for free.

how you finding it? I have an eve mattress and absolutely love it
I purchased a Simba mattress from Amazon so they never honoured the pillow offer, guess what’s going back in 67 days
Had my Simba about a month and highly recommend it.
Got the free pillows too. A bit firm to begin with but once broken in I wouldn't be without them. Heat from me

Really?
Tried a Simba for a just over month, wife and I both hated it. Far too firm and uncomfortable. Went for a 2800 pocket spring mattress and far better. Everyone different for mattresses and they have sold loads so presume just our preference.

So far, so good. It's very hard for me to judge at the moment as I've got an ongoing back and neck issue. But got the old Sealy Casoli mattress in the spare room so I'll give the Otty 30 days and then go back to the Sealy for 30 days. Should be able to make up my mind by then, I reckon.

I saw on Facebook the representative answering the comments was saying how the Simba mattress has conical pocket springs that are patented. I guess they all say they are unique in some way.

I don't own any of these so not being biased in any way.

Yeah, I think they all have their own little things to make them slightly different to each other. The spring layer on the SImba isn't very thick though and I thought 14cm of springs would be better than more foam. Seems to stay quite cool as well. It's a pretty big price difference between the Otty (Double: £450) and the Simba: £600) - If you don't want pillows with the Otty that comes down to £400.

For now I'm ok with the mattress and divan base that I got for £400 a few months ago from Silentnight. Nothing fancy but it does the job.
This is wrong the terms and conditions state the following:

4.4 Where you have ordered Products under any of our special promotions and been supplied with an additional Product for free or at a discounted price, you are entitled either to return all Products and receive a full refund, or alternatively you may keep the additional Product and be refunded for the value of the returned Product minus the cost price of the additional Product.

simbasleep.com/pag…rms

So you will be refunded the mattress and then get a refund -£90 so no free pillows here.

I'm not voting either way!

I am a bad sleeper, having tried a Simba mattress it's made no difference to my sleep pattern. It's definitely very firm.

hahaha. I had a waterbed for years (15yrs). I had a few leaks close together and got fed up so we got a Silent Night GelTex, tried it for 18 months, hated it. Bought a simba, ok for 4 months then was impossibly firm (just after the trial ended strangely enough), so hated it, now back to a waterbed. Now sleeping much better again
The so called Conical Springs are tiny, they dont go through the entire mattress just sit below the surface as a barrier to stop you sinking into the memory foam like the original mattresses that came out years ago. In picture third layer down from top

Eh, I am super dubious about all these new mattress companies springing up... all with incredibly high reviews on social media but when you look at things like trust pilot and most reviews away from social media they are generally not good. Seems to be a company who has spent more on marketing than R&D. I’m not voting either way but we tried mattresses to death over the weekend at john lewis, and these were hands down the worst ones. but I appreciate they offer a budget entry into mattresses. I would rather spend more on one I know will last 20-30 years though.
That link does not work???
