Free £200 bank switch (£150 upfront; £50 if you stay). New switchers to HSBC's Advance* get £150 within 70 days. Plus, register for online / mobile banking once it's open and if you're still with it after a year you get another £50. It has a 6mth 0% overdraft, and you can save up to £250/mth in its linked 6% regular saver.

Customer Service: OK: 44% rated it 'great', 19% 'poor', in our Feb poll.
Who can get it? You must switch two direct debits or standing orders. Then to keep it, you must pay in a relatively large £1,750/mth (equiv to £26,300 salary).

any idea if they would let a First Direct customer switch? Considering its part of HSBC have my doubts...

can't see anything excluding from T&Cs though
I left them because they are rubbish. I've made 5 times that already with cashback on a santander 123 account

i'd jump on this if my credit rating wasn't so terrible. although saying that, i guess it's always worth a punt
they should give their loyal customers a bonus...I've been with them for year n got what **** all x

Wow that's like £33,393 bill at 3% cash back. O.o

Maybe the 124 account doesn't have such a rip off fee as the 123 one I had

Well the 124 account would obviously be better than the 123 account, it's 1 higher! ;-)
Can my two standing orders be to other banks accounts belonging to me? If so, seems like a no brainer, no news to mess about with DDs. Not sure why this is cold?

I think he's more likely referring to the interest rate given on in credit balances.

Obviously typo

Fees are irrelevant if you earn many times more than anywhere else... I think I get around £30 a month, minus 5 fee is still pretty good.

(Mixture of direct debits, savings interest, and cashback)

1750£ a month, mm
Has this offer been withdrawn? I can't find it any more
Heat for the £200 which is good, and you can get a 4% regular saver account with them, but HSBC have really gone down hill in recent years with branch closures and foreign call centres. I left them about six months ago and switched to TSB, Don't find them any better thou, just a better deal on the account itself.
hey I can't seem to see details on their site? any help? thanks!
seems like a good promotion! and you can set up standing orders rather than direct debits!
Have some heat... why this and the £150 Coop switch are cold and the Halifax £125 deal is over 500 hot is beyond me.

Open a new HSBC Advance Bank Account and get £150 when you switch with a minimum of 2 Direct Debits or Standing Orders using the Current Account Switch Service within 30 days of opening your account.

If it's just 2 standing orders then this is a cracking deal because they are so easy to set up.

(I'd have to check the T&C's but you could possible set up two standing orders to your own or partners accounts for a just £1 each)

It's browser-dependent! Try opening kar999's link in an incognito window! Works for me when incognito, not when using my normal chrome
Op: You forget to mention that this cash back is also on the HSBC Premier bank account and the call centres are in UK and very good.

Needs to be direct debits not standing orders

Not withdrawn, it's just came out.. Should have gone to spec savers lol
If you are eligible for a premier account, 6% regular saver and call centres in UK
Also requires £1750 a month going into your account.
Advanced account and 6% regular saver can't fault my experience with them. Always quick to get through to them and greeted with them anyway having my details to hand when I verify after reading them. responsive Uk customer services robust app and quick dealing even when I was in another country. advance also benefits from a higher withdrawal limit, no transaction fee and preferential rates. if you can it's worth it.

No really, it doesn't show up on some browsers. Load the same url using incognito and normal chrome, and only the incognito chrome shows the offer. Haven't worked out why / what cookies or script blockers are stopping it so far.
