Did you not get offered the up to 40% off xbox live renewal?

My xbox live was up for renewal today, after waiting and hunting for the recent discount to hit my dashboard I did not get it in time and probley won't get it. As it was made clear to be selected accounts only.

However! With a quick chat with xbox live support. I was sent on my way with a 3 months xbox live code totally free. I explained I was made aware of a discount if i renewed and now cannot see it on my dashboard.

Simply go to xbox.com/sup…ort, wingle yourself through to the "chat with us" tab. Launch a live chat session and explain you have not had the deal either.

It's worth a try for 5 minutes of your time!

I DO NOT CLAIM THIS WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE BUT PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY.

ALSO 3 MONTHS IS NOT GAURNTEED, IT COULD BE 1-3.

Nothing to lose in my eyes

Good tactic, I used a similar tactic to get £40 from Sainsbury's when they couldn't fulfil my PS4 order.
Well actually they made a mistake and sent me a £20 voucher and credited my account with £20 Whoop/

Nice for you op, but now everyone going to bombard live chat i expect this will soon end

Worth a try to be fair, very unfair they only offered targeted account 40% off. After being a loyal live subscriber for 5years

I got no where with 4 different agents the other night despite the offer still being visible on my dashboard for 3 months for £8.99. (And still is now, but errors every time I try to renew)

They said they were sorry for the inconvenience, but the offer had been removed and was no longer available, however if I wished he could process my renewal for £14.99.

It's to entice newer accounts into getting a gold sub. Loyal members are less likely to get them due to a number of reasons. Usually loyal members tend to have a rolling subscription and normally a few years on their tenure which isn't what Microsoft is trying to target here. They are trying to target those who may have gotten their new console over the holiday season and entice them to get a subscription at a cheaper price. Good luck to you though

I tried and got absolutely nothing was told by the "tech expert" that he'd never heard of such promos or offers!!!!
