Looks cheap but a mix of calls, texts and web on that will potentially work out pricey unless a very light user. The O2 pay and go go go sims have double data at the moment so you get inclusive calls, texts and 500mb data for a tenner top up so might be an alternative

Yes, but the 02 offering expires each month, whereas the 321 offering lasts until your credit runs out.

Ah ok, i'm not really a fan of any pay as you go tariffs so was only a suggestion

£29.99 upfront cost?!?!?!

This is the cheapest p&g tariff for light users ( 50 mins 50 txts 200mb = £4.50pm). Any more than this should consider giffgaff or vectone p&g monthly bundles.

Don't really understand why this is not getting heat. Is there a better alternative for PAYG or for low users that i'm missing?

Do remember that you have to have a 3G capable phone for this SIM to even work. The amount of times customers have made that mistake...

I am a light user and ordered this to replace my Ovivo sim last night. I do not make that many calls so don't find it economical to be paying minimum £7 a month.Heat added

Maani - I'm exactly the same. Due to ovivo going down I researched all last night and this was the best for me. Even at 500gb which I'll never reach that's only £5 off your credit on this plan whereas other sims state its £1 a day for Internet! Perfect for me and the credit stays on your phone so your not paying for the "tariff deal" and it doesn't expire each month meaning you HAVE to top up again.

Perfect!

As above, I'm a light user too so this is ideal for me. Used to be on Asda mobile so making a good saving there.

thanks just ordered, cheers. hate buying goody bags or add ons which i dont use up.
been using an old giff gaff sim that has some credit left since ovivo turned scumbags.
that sim would have been good enough except for the ludicrous 20p for every extra 1mb after the daily 20p 20mb is used up. so if i used 30mb of data in one day it would cost 2.20, stuff that. using this sim it would only be 30p

nice find.. just ordered... cheers

In this difficult time, we all Ovivo victims should stay strong and help each other. Thanks for the post, as it confirms that 321 is the right choice to move on for me, and leave all my sorrows behind.

Is there any cash back? Just checking before I order one. Is there a charge to access voice mail? I use voicemail. Any link will help

Because its been posted before so is nothing new

Can these be used in tablets ?

Would have thought so, but can anyone confirm ?

Would be handy for iPads, etc

It says the monthly top up runs out in 30 days - does that mean you have to top up every month.
Or is it like Orange where £10 lasts as long as you like ?
Their Tarriff is 18 pages - easy to follow !!

How often do you have to use the phone to keep it alive. And does this have to be a call or can it be a text?

no

couldn't you buy a nanosim for ipad air - get £10 credit on it - and would £10 credit last as long as it lasted? (and not disappear each month)

Just wondering how 'light' a user I actually am. Anyone got stats on whatsapp MB usage used daily? I've just reset the data count to try to ascertain....thanks

thanks

Chosen this as well after OVIVO went bust.

More info on top up amounts and charges here: three.co.uk/Thr…rue (pages 15 & 16 on the price guide)

No need to top up every month, but if you buy add-on packs then those only last 30 days.

Hands down the best option to go for. if your a light user, a £10 top up will last you months on this.

Only on HDUK could someone ask for cash back on something that's free (_;)

cheers dude, need a new alternative to ovivo !

I found this on the link below...

"Mobile internet Free allowance of 150MB with every top-up, then 1p / MB"

Is this right? If so why is this info hidden away and not on the main page?

support.three.co.uk/SRV…124,Case=obj(4101)

@Sgtmilko good call.

Just looking at the addons, the 500mb for £5 is terrible when you consider 0.01*500 is £5 anyway but the internet daily isn't bad, 50p for 120MB, that would be 0.01*120 = £1.20 usually, a good saving on that and will be handy for days when you might expect to use a bit more.

just so its not missed again, you need a 3G phone for this to work, i have ordered this for myself and will transfer my ovivo number to this.

never used Three Mobile before but will give it a go, at least it wont go bust

would have been perfect for old man but unfortunately he has an old phone so this is no good

my phone does 3g and 4g, does anyone know if the 4g is for PAYG 321 as well, or contracts only

5£ will give you 500mb not gigabytes

Yes, note the Top ups DON'T expire (brilliant) - but the Add ons DO. And the dedicated 'Calls Only' Add On is for only to other Three numbers, otherwise 3-2-1 does me fine with at least 20x data down rate than Vodafone Y.M.M.Y

And compare the charges here
