Who voted cold and didn't give a reason?

I really would advise anyone interested in this to look into the details before starting with adwords. You will need to register a payment method in order to get the free credit, and any campaigns will not automatically stop when your free credit runs out. Also, almost every one of these free credits requires at least £5 to be funded on top of the free credit. This could well be a total freebie, but with my experience of adwords I have my doubts.

Saying this, adwords IS very good, highly useful, and this is a good deal. Just make sure you're certain of the details to ensure there's no sting ;]

I wasn't the one to vote cold BTW, just wanted to explain a little about this for anyone who may not know the details =]

If you go through GBBO you get £50 anyway.

Incorrect, when your free credit runs out if you have opted for the pre-pay method your campaign will automatically stop. It only continues if you selecr the post-pay method. But yes you do have to deposit £5 or £10 to activate the account and it's only for new AdWords accounts.

I thought the AdWords promos had ended? They were offering £75 of AdWords but that was back in September.
