FREE 4 hour parking at the O2 for Cineworld customers (no purchase necessary for Unlimited customers)

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but worth reminding people that if you visit the O2 in North Greenwich to catch a film at Cineworld there, your first 4 hours of parking are free if you present your ticket afterwards at the parking office.

If you're a unlimited customer this is especially convenient even if you're not catching a film and even more so if you have an iPhone which allows you to download an e ticket instead of having to go to the box office to pick one up as proof afterwards.

Potential saving of £14

Worth testing if possible on event days.

For brief offer description, visit the offer link.

"Cineworld customers

Get four hours’ free parking in Car Parks 2 and 3. Your four hours start once you’re in the car park. When the film’s finished, take your unpaid ticket and cinema stub to the parking office (opposite Car Park 2). We can’t validate station car park tickets so make sure you’re in Car Parks 2 or 3."

Thanks for letting me know! Didn't think it would work but kept my fingers crossed.
Do it all the time - but assumed publicising it will only make them tighten up on it!
thats one of the main reasons i stay away from the o2... the parking charges are ridiculous... such a shame as its so close by...rather go to the odeon in nearby charlton.. as spacious if not better and ample free parking space

Where is the freebie, you've either paid for a ticket or paid for unlimited?

Trust me. I'm not stupid enough to get an unlimited membership for free 4 hours at the o2, but assuming you have a membership, this is an added benefit. Also. Technically it only takes 2 visits (if you disregard the free films you're entitled to with unlimited) to make a profit on parking at the o2. So I cannot see how it can be argued this is not a great deal for those that don't know.

You pay the regular fares. So I believe it’s £6 for up to 2 hours and £8 for up to 4 on top of your four hours free. Though I seem to remember the prices have been increased recently by a Quid or two. Though of course the attendants have become slightly suspicious recently. Though I don’t see how they could prove that you did not go to the cinema if you have your ticket.
