How do you cancel?

I had to call to cancel mine. I had 6 months for £5 a month, and called to cancel 31 days before the offer ended. They messed it up and I've been charged the full price, not £5, for my 6th month notice period. Now I have to call again, and argue to get it back.

Thank you. Don't think it's worth the hassle in that case. Would be a lot easier if it could be cancelled online.

Typical Sky. They sent me a marketing leaflet offering all the sky sports channels in HD for £15/mth. When I called to take up the offer they denied that it included the channels in HD, despite the fact that I was looking at the leaflet in my hands and offered to send them a picture of it. They eventually gave it to me. When I called up last week about my contract, I was told that the HD offer was only for a while and would end next month, even though the sky sports channels would continue!

Sky just make it up as they go along. Always ask them to make a note on the account confirming whatever they tell you and then call back in a day to check they've actually left the notes. That's what I intend to do from now on. I plan to tell them that I will call back the next day to check the notes are on the system as I've been burnt before.
I'm amazed Sky can keep going with cheaper competition out there. Theres only so much tv you can watch. Even in lockdown
Just wish sky would support higher resolutions on there streaming service
Still find it scandalous why you have to pay for HD should be included in pric
i'd like to confirm on sky chat the conditions so I have something in writing before taking this but can't find sky chat option anywhere, anyone have a link ?
Also its says don't phone them at this time but thats the only way to cancel or downgrade your package !!

Yes it will. IT IS A CON !! I just tried it and sure enough it removed my sky sports discount - and on their phone lines they are refusing calls unless its from a vulnerable category. This really does amount to fraud. I wish I had listened to Kammykay who called this straight away. Now going to be a pain to sort out.

Oops
Spent an hour and a half on the online chat to sky today, my subs were discounted to £96 a month and next months would be £111, this is with the sky sports pause discount, Best I got was £96.50 a month for everything including broadband and netflix. Can see why half the country is using illegal methods to stream tv and I told them that. I’ve been a customer of theirs off and on since 1992 and to be honest they are taking the michael with their prices
