directline - I pay £43 a year for £30,000 cover (4 bed detached)

tescos were more than triple my cheapest quote for B&C.

Yeah unfortunately this won't suit everyone, but for me it worked out cheaper even though i considered quidco and topcashback.
Anyone got any feedback on how the prices changed since yesterday's promotion (50% off) changed to today's promotion (free £40 giftcard). I am holding a quote from yesterday's promotion which worked out the best price I have been able to find.

Cheaper for some, more expensive for others. Nothing new there.
Had mine with them for last 2 years, undercut the cheapest on comparison sites by £20
Swiftcover and Tesco Value are the cheapest for me this year.

An opinion based on quotes from around 24 main insurers where Tesco came out the most expensive. the top 8 prices were in line with average prices whereas Tesco were 300% more expensive. Needless to say that Tesco clearly have a radically different pricing model from other main insurers.

b careful with tesco value. The excesses are horrendous and cover limits low
