Isn't that usual practice even with the ee offers etc. Should be able to cancel straight away and let the subscription run to it's conclusion

55p if you’re able just to buy a single child’s ticket for this journey
How much are platform tickets these days?
Looks like a good deal.

Maybe a long shot, but Is there any way to get a new Apple Music account but keep my other Apple services on my existing account (eg photos, iCloud backup etc)? I’m using an iPhone and everything is linked to the same ID.

Also, I’m registered with train line, but didn’t get an email with the offer, have others received this?
It says:
6. In order to participate in the offer the Recipient must: Receive an email communication or in-app push notification from Trainline in relation to the offer;

So doesn't this mean it's an email invite only offer?
Where does it tell you about the promotion on the app or site?
Anyone else had an actual invite? Can’t see anything about the promotion on their website.
Don’t you get 6 months free just by signing up?

That's pretty much what the quoted rule says - receive either an email or in-app push notification, so make sure your register a valid email address, monitor that account, and/or activate push notifications on the Trainline app.

Still waiting for my invite.
Was I dreaming ... I thought Apple Music was being cancelled? Yes, you get a free service for a good period, but for me the big thing is playlists and losing them when it's cancelled is such a PITA. Is it being cancelled?

When installing app for first time I was offered 3 months free; the six months is via EE contract I believe.

Got a link for that, can't see it
I cancelled my three month trial last week and it said cancellation took effect immediately (rather than being like Prime where you still get the benefits until the end of the term)

Why would their central to way of making money in music be cancelled? It’s the iTunes software you’re thinking of.
I didn't get 1. Support are asking for a screenshot to understand what the offer is. Can anyone provide me with 1 please?
Bought the ticket, now what? Where’s the promotional email

Prime have recently changed this and the benefits now end immediately.
Is this real? I cannot see any information anywhere else about this offer?

i take it this is just for free trials ? they couldnt take the benefits away if you were paying monthly and cancelled as you have paid for it ?

edit: heat added for those eligible
Edited by: "billysablo" 11th Jul
@magicjay1986 another type of thread to go with the one about retention, email offers, all of this heat and no one other than a few can actually get it, should have had invite only in title but it took 17 hours plus for it to be added

Sorry Op there is no deal here

I bought a train ticket only yesterday through the app dammit.
Technically this isnt free, as the Trainline charge you booking fees which most other rail operators don't if you buy the same ticket directly through their website.

Never said it wasn't worth it, just pointing out that those 50p tickets are more like 2 quid with fees.
Thanks for posting @the.porter we have added this to the Highlights pages

No it's not being cancelled where on earth did your hear that?! it's one of Apples biggest revenue streams. The itunes App is being discontinuted in favour of separate, Music TV and so on apps.
