On receipt of your payment we will:

The cost of carbon credits may increase over time. We reserve the right to increase the cost per tonne applied within the website carbon calculator in line with such increases, however, the cost of your offset is valid at time of purchase and you will not be asked to pay any additional funds. 31p is not free then is it?

wjaime

good deal thanks

The things these animal extremists will do to get publicity, should be ashamed of themselves.

Hi Sakul, thanks for taking the time to post. As pointed out by hukd members it would seem you have to pay the following: 1p carbon offset fee, 30p cost to process transaction. I have therefore moved your thread to the Deals section.

crap site, it does not recognise the registration numbers of 2 electric vehicles we own

What a very stupid comment. Guess you could say the same about cows, or even you. Both damage the planet in one way or another. Why am I even bothering to respond to such a retarded comment.

cheers for that kizza... in relation to this deal though we are concerned with offsetting the carbon produced by methods of transport.

perhaps you meant horses rather than cows?

anyhow cows exist in such huge numbers through human intervention, breeding them for food

obviously walking/cycling are relatively low in carbon emissions, provided the food we eat and its packaging are produced environmentally.

next step up from that is an electric bicycle, electric scooter or electric car where a certain amount of carbon is created by the vehicle's production, but also from charging (unless the electricity is produced by solar, wind, nuclear, geothermal or hydro means)

there is no option in the bp carbon offsetting calculator for this.

similarly there is no option for petrol scooters or motorbikes which tend to be less polluting than cars because they have smaller engines and weigh a lot less.

i hope this clarifies my retardation for you kizza and would welcome your constructive comments on carbon offsetting and minimising our impact on the planet

Pretty sure everyone here couldn't give a feck about carbon off setting. This is not a thread for eco warriors like yourself. Spend 31p, get £2.50 off your next shop or fill up. That's how I see it.

Please read this

Now jog on and spread your poison elsewhere.

im proud to be an eco warrior and got my £2.50 of points for 31p too

i was merely pointing out the shortcomings of the BP site

you sound like a complete waste of the earth's precious resources kizza i'm afraid

if everyone on this planet shared your vile trolling chav attitude we would all be doomed
