Yes it has to use today. You can get 600g Iceland crispy/southern fried/breaded/hot & spicy or bbq fillets according to their T&C.
If you follow the link and check the product information you will see the chicken comes all the way from Thailand! No thanks!
Be lucky if you can find the sun in Liverpool every supermarket and newsagents has stopped selling it
Cheers OP, will give it a go. Usually just a lottery whether you can get the paper then whether your local Iceland has any stock.

For real money savers remember library's, Weatherpersons etc may have copies of the Sun to yoink the coupon from.
Not a Sun newspaper fan, but heat for the deal

Most chicken on products like this for all supermarket brands usually comes from Thailand or Poland.

At the end of the day being sold into the EU means it has to meet our rules on what it is fed/vaccines etc. Only differences will be living conditions.

Let me tell you, these are incredible. Very tasty and juicy. The glowing reviews on Iceland's website are genuine.
Heat
Didn't know you could still buy printed newspapers you learn something new every day.

As is a large amount of chicken used in supermarket ready meals, sandwiches, "fast food" and takeaways.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with food coming from another country, so long as it meets our hygiene standards. For example, a lot of king prawns and other seafood come from Indonesia. Do you eat pineapples etc from the Caribbean, or do you think they are farmed in Peckham? What about Argentinian corned beef?

Maybe it's time for you to put your racist views aside and "check the label"?

So the 2 million chickens slaughtered in Scunthorpe every week are inferior to this cr@p? Buy British and keep doing so for the people who's livelihood depends upon it. Nothing to do with the deal same as the quote above isn't.

I knew you could still buy them, it is WHY you can still buy them that leaves me wondering. More out of date than wig powder or flint napping.

We produce more chicken than this country needs and export millions of pounds worth.

I'm not English, so 'we' isn't accurate - Scotland ( plus probably Wales & NI) is a net exporter of food.

Just becuase you export something doesn't mean you don't import it too.
e.g. China prefers leg/wings and the UK breast meat.

"WE" as in the UK produce more than enough chicken to feed the UK so much so millions and millions of pounds worth are exported. No need to import any. By the way jock, last time I looked Scotland was still part of the UK, British even.
