ahh newspapers are so 1980's, joking apart a good freebie for the elderly non satnav or internet users

Very er - useful - commentry. Good post - Sat Nav has changed family holidays/driving for good, but nothing wrong with a backup Atlas for nowt. The last one from 2006 (99p from 99p Shop) has had a bit too much wear n' tear over the years and will be heading for the recycle bin come Saturday.

Good Find, Heat added!

Just a warning - don't get your hopes up. These giveaway 32 page 'atlases' are given away free every year. Every time, there's a thread like this. And every year there's massive disappointment when people realise how small, thin and useless these atlases really are. The scale is 12.5 miles to the inch - useless for most purposes.

The ones in the 99p and pound shops are fine - a totally different product.

Save the 80p you'd have spent on the Mail/toilet paper and buy another one from Poundland. That's a good atlas - the one in the Mail is utterly useless.

Totally agree. Got one of these last year. It is about A5 size. No real detail on the maps. totally useless.

I don't think, to be fair, there's any token collect for this, but I'm sure anyone who's actually bought a copy of this poisonous little rag will confirm how useless and pointless the 'atlas' is.

I fell for this and bought the Scottish Daily Mail, and to make matters worse (or better for me?) the map is not even in there (or is it really that small I didn't notice it). Oh well now I get plenty of waste paper in case I need some to line something with.

On the bright side, there's a 50p off voucher inside for tomorrow's Mail paper, which will have a 5 pounds Tesco voucher. Still a profit I guess.

Well, a bit of a let down - not very big and flimsy - at least I didn't buy it (My mum didn't want it). Anyway, as I was perusing the paper, I noticed that in tomorrow's Mail on Sunday there is a voucher for £5 off a £40 Tesco shop, which might be of interest to someone.

maybe the voucher collect was for that cottage or something, my bad.
"poisonous little rag" made me chuckle X)
