There is free access to 24 Nottinghamshire tourist attractions on Sunday 17th April for BBC Radio Nottingham's Big Day Out! Check out the full list of places you can visit with your family here...

BBC Radio Nottingham's "Big Day Out" is on Sunday 17th April 2016 offering free entry to Nottinghamshire museums and heritage attractions. The places taking part want you to come and see what they have to offer. Each year, thousands of people take advantage of this celebration of the county's rich history. All the venues involved are offering free admission in some form.

In some cases you will need a print out, which acts as a voucher, or to book in advance. If you don't have a printer, copies of this list are available from BBC Radio Nottingham's reception (open during office hours).

If you going to decide to goto the galleries book soon as there are limited places and very popular especially when its free

the castle entry is free when living in notts anyway but the galleries are worth a punt, wish I'd gone when I was there.

Wish the caves were free they are the best thing in Notts.Anyways could be good to combine with the free Canal Day thing.
Newstead abbey is a great day out is the weather is nice.
the pub the final whistle at southwell is lovely for some afters!
